sakura haruno turned 17 today. as a gift tsunade gave her the dag off from the hospital, all her vrienden and family gave her presents and all hung out...except her best friend...it wasnt like naruto to miss her birthday...even while training with jirayia naruto still bought her presents and gave them to her when he got back. however today, noone has seen naruto uzumaki anywhere....and sakura was worried...
-narutos P.O.V-
the reason naruto hasnt been seen all dag was because he was running around all dag trying to that "perfect gift" for sakura. with the 4th ninja war over and sasuke once again breaking her hart-, hart as fell further into the black darkness that surrounded him all he wanted was to give her the best present ever....he didnt want to make her fall in love with him he just wanted to make her feel better. but still...he searched throughtout every store in konoha and still couldnt find what he wanted
"i want sakuras gift to just as unique as she is, just as beautiful as she is, just exactly how she is.....perfect in everyway"
-sakuras P.O.V-
sakura went back home pagina to catch a break from all the festivities happening. she went to her room and opened her closet, there she dragged out a box. she opened the box and frowned at seeing all her old sasuke pictures covered with a million hearts
"i have to remember to burn those later"
after taking all the stuff out of the box she then picked up a small jewerly box designed in kers-, cherry blossom flowers
"naruto still bought me this while he was training with lord jirayia..."
she puts on the halsketting, ketting and it fits her perfectly
"either i havent grown at all since that dag of he bought it a little big and knew i would grow into it....either way....all i did was say thank u and threw this in the box because i was dumb enough to believe there was a chance for sasuke....."
she brought herself to tears when she took out the overhemd, shirt he made for her last year, he obviously had ino of someone do it for him but still its the thought that counts right? on the back was her clans symbol but inside the symbol was symbol of the uzumaki clan
"that was his hint at saying one dag they will become one"
she then smiled very slightly
"maybe one dag naruto....maybe one day"

naruto suddenly had an idea and ran home
"no one can resist a special homemade gift"

sakura rejoined her vrienden and family after bringing herself together but she still wished naruto would come....they all sang "happy birthday" and lit the candles on the cake which of course was all kers-, cherry blossom related....she blew out the candles and made a wish.....

suddenly, as if naruto knew her thoughts, he magically appeared in a wolk of smoke with a wrapped present in hand. overcome with excitement sakura jumped up and gave naruto a great big hug, naruto of course caught off guard couldnt help but blush and hugged her back
"sorry im late sakura-chan" as he scratched his head
"where have u been baka?!"
"i was out all dag trying to find a present for you"
"naruto....you know door now all i care is that u remember"
"no sakura....thats not good enough for me....you have always been there when i needed someone to either cry to of vent...you have been my teammate for almost 5 years now....you have done so much for me that u couldnt imagine how much of an impact u have been on my life. the reason why i couldnt find the right present was because theres no present in the world thats as unique of as beautiful as u are....there never can be a present as perfect as u because to me u are perfect in every possible way"
sakura was trying really hard not to cry in front of everyone but once the tears dropped she couldnt help it
"i can probally still figure your greatest wish is for sasuke to come back nd i will not stop until...."
"naruto stop. your very wrong. i could care less about that freaking bastard, all he ever did was hurt us"

"guess that all explains all the bandages on your hands....papercut much"

"naruto this is great...really....but....thats not the present i wanted from you" she blushes deeply
"huh...then what did u want...."
sakura grabs his kraag and pulls him to her
"why must u be such a baka naruto-kun" she then pulls him closer and kisses him
naruto blushes to the point where he is as roze as sakuras hair but gives in and kisses back
sakura pulls back with her pale skin as roze as her hair, while naruto is trying desperately not to pass out
sakura takes out the overhemd, shirt he gave her last jaar and puts it over her normal shirt
"now that i think about it....-points to the uzumaki symbol inside the haruno symbol- that future may come sooner than u think naruto-kun" -she says with a wink
naruto just smiles with classic goofy grin on his face
"sounds like a plan sakura-chan"
then they kiss eachother again letting the love soar through them
"-coughs- yo lovebirds"
they pull away blushing
"first off.....its about damn u guys...seriously...and second...we still have a party over here"
"i know that ino-pig" sakura sticks her toungue and grabs narutos hand and they rejoin the party
