One Direction’s New Track, ‘Ready To Run,’ Makes Them Realize They’re In Love

One Direction are “Ready to Run” — into your hearts, of course. That’s also the title of the newest song released off of the British fivesome’s fourth album, FOUR.

An acoustic guitar drives the folksy tune — but there’s still an arena-rock vibe to the song, with hearty harmonies and swelling, echoed backing vocals that make it feel full of sound. Louis, Zayn, Niall, Liam and Harry sing about realizing how much they love their girlfriends, and how they must hurry to them before it’s too late.

The guys weren’t kidding when they said we’d get more pre-release songs if we ordered FOUR ahead of time. “Ready to Run” is the second song available on iTunes, following lead single “Steal My Girl.” Now, let’s see — which of these other songs will we get before the album drops on November 17?
