franky is kind of machine! a machine can't have a parent can he? nami is adopted and she HAS a mom, although she's not her REAL MOM. for sanji and zoro, perhaps their parents are killed?

Franky wasn't born a machine! He was born a human so he must have parents, and I ment Nami's real parents, not her foster mom :P
Franky's dad abandoned him, that's why Tom-san took him in. Nami's parents were never mentioned besides that they died and that Bellemere adopted her. Sanji and Zoro's parents aren't mentioned at all.
zoros parents must have abandoned him of died because in his flashback he was wandering from place to place, sanji's dad might be Zeff? they never quite cleared that up, Nami's parents died in the war and she was rescued blah blah blah u know the rest, Franky's mom might have been the train lady? just a guess again, also brooks parent weren't mentioned, just an afterthought

How could I forget Brook xD and I don't think Franky's mom is that mermaid, that would be a bit too weird x)
I was wondering that too, I actually wrote an artikel about my theories on who their parents were. I think that's something that Oda may reveal later. However, it's not very crucial to the story right now. All we need to know for now is just the people who raised them i.e. Sanji: Zeff, the people at Baratie. Zoro: Kuina, Koshiro. Franky: Tom, Iceberg, Kokoro. Nami: Belemere, Nojiko.

I enjoied reading your artikel and I have similar theories too but I'm still too curious >.<
Franky's dad abandoned him and that's why Tom-san let him live with them (Iceberg, Baa-san and Yokozuna). It was also why Tom never told him off for building weapons. Nami's parents died, I believe, so Bellemere adopted her. Zoro and Sanji's parents aren't mentioned, so I assume that Oda wishes the audience to consider the people they grew up with as their foster parents, so to speak. It could be that Sanji and Zoro's parents died.

Maybe they're all famous pirates and all their parents are in one crew which they'll meet at the end of the grandline. That would be really unexpected :D
Franky's parents(where pirates) threw him into the ocean as a child and grew up with being raised door Tom even if hallo were alive they would be old people.
Nami was found door Nojiko and was adopted door Bellemre-san when their town was destroyed.
Zoro's I'm not sure all I know was that when he chose to be a swordsman he left his old life behind.
Well all I know from Sanji was from the anime.
Who knows though we might see them but theirs a slim chance.

But what about Luffy's mom that's my question. They talk about almost everyone he's related to but his Grandma and mom.
We can answer two of those questions. Frank's parents are mention in his flashback. they abandoned him because Franky was annoying and they were asshole pirates. Tom is a better parent anyway. Nami parents were massacred door pirates when she was found door Bellmere. As for Zoro and Sanji it still remains a mystery, though Zoro may be an orphan too as we see in his flashback(anime) he looks poor. Sanji is meer complicated since he seen as a kid was on a passenger ship Orbit BUT says he was born North Blue it's got somthing to do with his WANTED ALIVE? poster....
I think Franky was an orphan and tom the guy who made goud D rogers ship adopted him. Nami's parents where killed in a battle between pirates and the navy and bell-mere took pity on her and nojiko and dissected to adopt them
