I was torn between Kuma and Dragon, but went with Kuma cuz all Dragon has done till now is pose a few times and fire off cool one-liners. While that was enough to get the fans all worked up about him, I feel Kuma has done a lot more AND managed to keep us interested in him, even after he "died".

I'm actually torn between the same two, but the difference for me comes from hints. Dragon is sort of a blanket unknown - there's a lot about him we don't understand, so much that it's almost daunting to think of how he could be elucidated. Kuma has had so much happen off screen over the course of the anime and before, much of which has been alluded to, that he just comes off as incredibly mysterious and intriguing. What led him to leave the Revolutionaries? Why did he become a Shichibukai? Why did he become one of Vegapunk's experiments? Why would he then seek to defend Luffy and crew against the Pacifista and Sentomaru? Why did he agree to have all of his humanity removed, and then proceed to use his last bit of humanity to ensure that the Strawhat ship was defended while they were away? It's all very strange, and mysterious.

Well mine was Drake. Though I do like Kuma more as a character, I find Drake to be more mysterious. My reasons being that Drake was a marine until he sided with the pirates. He was fairly far up in the ranks, holding a higher rank than Smoker when he was first shown on Sabaody archipelago. He also has not been seen much but from what I can tell, he is now serving under Kaido. I want to know more about his motives, what could possibly make him turn from the marines over to the pirates after he held the rank of Rear Admiral?

Vegapunk. We know barely anything substantial about him and what do know leads to capturing my intrigue. He's the greatest scientist of the age and puts Caesar to shame. The technology he has created, thusfar, holds my attention. Who is he? Where is he now? What is he doing? I want to know more about him. Next is Kuma. Flame's points are good ones. Such a strange character... what was he really aiming for?

"Joy Boy" was a man from the surface world who played an important role in the history of the Fishman Island. He was first mentioned on the Ryugu Poneglyph read by Nico Robin while at the Sea Forest

Around 800 years ago, the residents of Fishman Island made a promise to a great man named Joy Boy. Joy Boy attempted to raise Noah with Poseidon's aid, but he broke his promise to Fishman Island. However, Fishman Island promised that they would keep Noah safe until a certain day came. On the poneglyph is a letter of apology from Joy Boy to Poseidon, apologizing for breaking his end of the bargain.

Fishman Island's half of the promise was almost broken during the events of the Fishman Island arc, when Luffy was asked to protect the island no matter what the cost, even if Noah had to be destroyed in the process.

this Joy boy.........he is the most mysterious character from one piece............he is related to history but something tells me he have a great role from history,.............im soo curious about him..........there is something im feeling unease about him................he is a great mystory after all....i hope Oda will explain it at some point.................

I was about to pick Kuma until I saw Joy Boy as an option. I mean, I REALLY want to know more about Kuma and his motives, but when I was reading through the wiki about the Void Century and the Poneglyphs, his name popped up and really hit me. I kind of missed it back during the Fishman Island arc, but looking at it now, all the other Poneglyphs tell pieces of history from back during the Void Century or tell about the location of the weapons. But Joy Boy left this Poneglyph to apologize about Noah. It's weird, unexpected, and definitely a bit random, only adding more mystery around something we already don't understand. I started imagining things, wondering about what could have happened to bring this about--I mean, he could send a giant block of text to Fishman Island but couldn't return personally?--and I just ended up really obsessing over the mysteries on One Piece. Plus, the name is kind of fun to say.

I don't even remember Joy Boy, but that is intriguing I'll look it up.
