1. Is Leyton meant to last, of is tragedy up ahead?
Let's be honest, Lucas and Peyton are a corny couple, but what is not to love about two soul mates planning a wedding? Since I am a Leyton fan, I really hope it works out for them, but I can't help but wonder...In the past, as much as they couldn't get enough of each other Lucas and Peyton's romance was always inturrupted door something, and Peyton can't go three episodes without a major meltdown, which leads me to believe that her newfound happiness is headed for disaster. For instance, Brucas was an important part of the Lucas-Peyton love triangle, and while she seems thrilled for P.Sawyer, could it be that Brooke secretly longs for the guy who used to call her "pretty girl?" That leads me to my volgende point: did anyone notice that in last weeks's episode We Three (My Echo, My Shadow, and Me), Luke called Peyton "pretty girl?" This may be reading too much into the script, but it's possible that in the back of his mind Lucas was picturing a brunette beauty as he zei her old pet-name. Also, in a recent CW interview, Hilarie burton hinted that even though he promised no meer triangles, Mark Schwann will probably get bored and throw a hot new face of someone's vorige love interest into the mix. To prove that I'm not making this up, it's been rumored that Jake will be returning to boom Hill, and he and Peyton almost got married. There's no telling if those two still have feelings for each other. Not to mention, Julian is still hanging around, and I don't trust him to keep his distance from a certain blonde he used to date...But enough about messy romances, we still have Peyton's health to consider. During the last 30 seconden of 6x11, Peyton clutches her stomach and falls to the ground; now, my vrienden have been saying, "Oh, it means nothing. That's just Chad's cheesy screenwriting skills, and the creators trying to hook us for the volgende episode." (As if we need a reason to keep tuning in)?! Sure, Chad Michael Murray's storyline was a little far-fetched, but maybe there is meer to P.Sawyer's stomach-clutching that meets the eye. For instance, did anyone watch the voorbeeld for the upcoming episode? If u haven't seen it yet, go to cwtv.com - it's a must-see! It leads viewers to believe that Lucas's "precious Peyton" may have cancer, and really, why not? After all, Ellie died of breast cancer, and she once told Larry to have Peyton checked for the same illness. Foreshadowing? Maybe so. Well, that is one possible explanation. Another would be that either Peyton is pregnant, since it has already leaked on spoilerfix.com that a main character will be sporting maternity wear this season, of that she had a miscarriage. According to the CW message board, Hilarie burton has already signed on for season 7 - assuming that Bethany Joy Galeotti stops dragging her feet and gets on board too - so she can't die just yet. As much as it pains me to say it though, I have this feeling that Peyton won't be around much longer. Is Leyton destined to be star-crossed forever, and will Brucas eventually will pick up where it left off? I hope not, but we'll see...
