The Five Most Annoying Characters on TV: Jamie ‘One Tree Hill’, Morgan ‘Chuck’, Deliah and Eli James “Ghost Whisperer’ and Cast of Eleventh Hour (Tie)
Do you ever have television shows that you watch but as soon as a certain character comes on the entire show is ruined for you? The following are the Five Most Annoying Characters/Actors who totally ruin their TV Shows for me every time they make an appearance on screen:
Jamie One Tree Hill played by Jackson Brundage
Delia Banks The Ghost Whisperer played by Camryn Manheim
Eli Stone The Ghost Whisperer played by Jamie Kennedy
Morgan ‘Chuck’ played by Joshua Gomez
Tie between Jacob Hood played by Rufus Sewell and Rachel Young played by
Marley Shelton The cast of The Eleventh Hour
The character I hate the most and I wish he would be written off for good on the show is Jamie on One Tree Hill. Jamie is the 4 or 5 year old son of Nathan and Haley Scott and unless you are a teenage girl, he brings nothing to this mediocre but watchable show. Every episode we see and relearn again how Jamie is adorable, a genius,so cute who can do everything. Who gives a damn? I’m interested in the main characters not seeing some little kid who adds nothing to the plot or anything. Females seem to love this brat. I think males hate him.
Next comes Morgan Chuck’s pal in “Chuck”. I have to admit Morgan is less annoying this year but he’s still annoying. Last year this character was so over the top and he wasn’t funny and was just plain useless. For some reason TV Show creators are in love with giving TV Shows side characters who are totally over the top and not funny even though the show thinks they are. This year the character has been toned down a bit but he’s still not funny and doesn’t advance the storyline.
Ghost Whisperer hits the daily double for having 2 annoying characters including the newcomer annoying character of the year Eli Stone/Jamie Kennedy. The original annoying character of Ghost Whisperer, another mediocre but watchable show, is Delia Banks played by Camryn Manheim who took over for Aisha Tyler who played and did an excellent job as Andrea Moreno and had excellent chemistry with Jennifer Love Hewitt. Whoever cast Camryn Manheim and Jamie Kennedy on this show should be fired. Camryn Manheim has totally been miscast and in fact is too good an actress to play her character. There is something about seeing her sour puss mug on the screen that just totally bums me out and her character doesn’t serve any purpose in advancing the storyline. As far as Jamie Kennedy, his character replaced the mediocre but not terrible Professor Rick Payne played by the mediocre but not terrible Jay Mohr. Jamie Kennedy comes across like someone whose balls are being squeezed super tight the whole time and he sounds and acts like a 10 year old kid even though he’s playing an adult. If he was a horse, someone would shoot the horse and put it out of is misery.
Finally we have an entire cast of a new show in a tie for most annoying characters. I usually like TV shows about Psychic Phenomena but the 2 leads in the Eleventh Hour played by Rufus Sewell and Marley Shelton come across as 2 Constipated Human Beings who haven’t been able to relieve themselves in ages! In all fairness, I admit I watched the first episode of Eleventh Hour for 12 minutes and the characters/actors were so dull, stiff and constipated, I turned it off for good.
Sorry, but the cuteness wore off early in season five, and I seriously wish that they'd just send him to boarding school so that they can have some REAL drama on the show. Not some "omg-my-bunny's-getting- bullied-cause-he's-wearing-a-cape- let's-all-make-brownies-and- be-on-seventh-heaven" drama.
I though I was the only one who feel that way about Jamie!
