yeah i hate that! when oth shows on e4 over here it lasts an hour, but just because of the breaks every 15 mins,

we have almost 10 minutes breaks here per half hour, i hate it!

it's the same here.. not in shows like oth, but if it's a (real) 1 hour long show :P in oth it's a 1 minute break or something after 15 - 20 minutes

well they say it's an hour long because the timeslot on the tv is for an hour...but most of their episodes run about 41 minutes...i don't know about other places but the breaks are pretty much like what naley_4ever said

but yea every show is like that there isn't any show here that actually lasts for an hour cuz they all have the commercial breaks in them

i hate watching american shows on tv, special when i watch *cough* oprah xD 'cause she says like every 5th minute "we'll be right back after this..". it's annoying :o

your gonna think im weird now - but in the UK every break is 4 minutes long! try it :D

i have the power of sky+ so i pause it, do something for 4 minutes and skip the breaks :D

they always say it like that. And It's probabbly because of all the breaks!

i'm just not used to it 'cause i'm from norway, and we don't have all those lame-ass commercial breaks :p
