they are best friends and i like it that way :) you know like brucas fans are always saying peyton is never there for brooke i think its the opposite. brooke was always with lucas with the ellie situation and then with psyco derek she was still mad at peyton for being honest with her saying she loved lucas! she was only in the derek thing at the very end then they sent him to jail! peyton is mostly there for brooke ... somebody please tell me when she wasnt?

Laurra brooke was there for psyco derek if brooke wasnt there peyton would have died. Peyton got mad at brooke for coming there wihtout telling anybody and she wrote Whore on her prom dress! I am i a brucas fan but i know that peyton was there for brooke sometimes but i think that brooke is the better friend!

chlarkfan, I think under the circumstances, brooke had to be there for peyton more cause peyton went through more than brooke did. if the situations were reversed, peyton would have been there for brooke with psycho derek, two dead moms and etc. Let's not forget that peyton [despite what she's been through] was still there for brooke when she she needed her. Heck, peyton got shot and brooke needed consoling about luke...haha. She also stuck up for brooke when her mom bashed her (s5), and consoled brooke in the library (s5e9), and throughout the seasons she's been there for brooke time and time again during her melodrama. I could go on for a page if I listed everything...I think peyton was a great friend under the circumstances...It doesn't matter if brooke beats out peyton in the number of times she's been there for her. Brooke simply hasn't gone through nearly as much as peyton has, so peyton hasn't had as many opportunities to be there for Brooke. Bottom line, when brooke needed peyton, she was there and if you think about it, brooke wasn't always there for peyton (school shooting aftermath - she ended up accusing peyton that luke loves her & she wasn't there when psycho derek first attacked her). I'm not saying brooke's a bad friend, but they both screwed up in their friendship and yet they've both shown to be amazing friends time and time again. I think they're equal in the great friends category, but that's just my opinion :)

Always they are there for each othe all the time even when they are mad they still ask there other friends ( haley, lucas, nathan ) if they are ok
