Hello, everyone. Antonia here, and I decided to do a blog on vragen I'm frequently asked about being asexual. As I mentioned in the Introduction Blog, I am asexual. I first discovered that when I was fourteen. I was bullied in school because of it. If you're not sure what asexual is, this should educate you, (I hope). Here it goes.
1. Q: If you're asexual, does that mean u don't date?
A: No. All asexual means is that you're not sexually attracted to anyone. Romance is totally different. Some asexuals are aromantic, but some of them are romantic. Romantically speaking, I could go either way, but I prefer males.
2. Q: Are u an alien?
A: No, I am not an alien. If u want to see aliens, watch a sci-fi film.
3. Q: Since you're not dating someone, are u lonely?
A: No, I'm not lonely. I have friends. Friendship can be just as rewarding as romance, if not more. Honestly, the only reason I haven't dated is I'm afraid of getting hurt. I've had good vrienden who have been hurt in romance, and I know it could very easily happen to me.
4. Q: How do u know you're asexual?
A: u just know. That's really difficult to answer. There are different types of asexuals out there, and in the end, u know how u feel. Don't listen to anyone who tells u otherwise.
5. Q: Do u think you'll change your mind when the "right person" comes along?
A: No, I won't change my mind. Asexuality is a sexual orientation, not a choice. Besides, the "right person" would understand my needs and desires.
6. Q: If you're asexual, does that mean you're repulsed door sex/the idea of it?
A: No. Sexual orientation and sexual desire are actually two different things. I am repulsed door the idea of sex, but I don't reject it entirely.
7. Q: Are u asexual for religious purposes?
A: No, I'm not even religious. I'm spiritual, though. Asexuality is not celibacy. Celibacy is a choice. Asexuality is not a choice.
8. Q: What is the worst part about being asexual?
A: Probably the ridicule I've faced for it.
9. Q: What is the best part about being asexual?
A: I'm not sure. I guess the fact that it makes u an individual.
10. Q: Does it annoy u when people misconstrue your being asexual?
A: Yes.
I hope u enjoyed this blog. There are meer blogs to come.
Peace and love,
-Antonia

After Everett received his discharge papers and his crutches, Una asked him, "Are u hungry?" He said, "Yes, very." She said, "Okay. We'll get something to eat, then I'll take u home." After they ate avondeten, diner at a burger joint, they went back to Everett's apartment. Una decided to stay with Everett so that she could help him with whatever he needed. Mrs. Stratton approved of Una's decision. Everett's knee healed in a few days. After that, he and Una decided that they would start planning their wedding. It is a dag that they are both looking vooruit, voorwaarts to.

Una, Everett, and Kaitlyn had avondeten, diner at a nice restaurant. As they ate, Una asked, "So, Kaitlyn, what are u majoring in?" Kaitlyn replied, "Well, I'm a biology major. I'm hoping to be a veterinarian." Una said, "You're an animal lover. That's great!" Kaitlyn said, "Yes, I've always been an animal lover. How about you?" Una replied, "Well, I always wanted a dog, but my mother is highly allergic. With that being said, I'm so busy with acting, I'm not sure I'd have time for one now." Kaitlyn said, "That's true. Dogs do require a lot of attention. I'm hoping to get one after I finish with veterinary school and get meer settled." Everett smiled as he listened to Una and Kaitlyn's conversation. He was happy to see that they were getting along so well. He thought, This is wonderful. I think it'll work if Una and I decide to get married.

"What do u mean?" Una once again prepared to listen. Everett replied, "While my immediate family was supportive of my dream to go into film editing, not everyone was kind. Lots of people told me that I couldn't do it: most of my schoolmates, some teachers, even my extended family." She said, "How awful!" He said, "I know, but I didn't let that keep me down. My father even told me that I should go for it, no matter what anyone says. I looked at different film schools, and I got accepted into one that is fairly close to where I grew up. Upon graduating, I started preparing to go to film school. I started that fall, and I got a job at the local diner to help my parents cover the apartment rent." Una added, "And that's where we met." Everett smiled. "Yes, Una. My life only got brighter from there." She said, "Aw! I say the same to you, Everett." With that, they kissed.
