One day, Caryn decided to visit John in the studio. John smiled when he saw her. He said, "Hello, Caryn. How are u doing?" She said, "I'm doing well. I was just working on a painting, and I decided to come door and pay u a visit. How are you?" He said, "I'm glad you're doing well. I'm doing well, too. My band mates and I have been recording some songs. Come meet them." Caryn zei to John's band mates, "Hi, I'm Caryn, John's new girlfriend." Allen said, "Hi, Caryn. John's told us so much about you. I'm Allen. I play rhythm gitaar and provide backing vocals." Peter said, "I'm Peter, and I play bas, bass and provide backing vocals." Stan said, "And I'm Stan. I play drums and provide backing vocals." Caryn said, "It's nice to meet all of you. Stan, u looks so much like Frank Zappa. Are u related to him?" Stan said, "To the best of my knowledge, I'm not related to him at all." Caryn sat in during the recording session. After the session was over, she said, "I really enjoyed this." John said, "I'm glad u enjoyed it." Allen said, "John told us that u have some artwork for the album cover." Caryn smiled and said, "Why, yes, I do. I have it with me. u can tell me which one u like. If u think I need to make changes, I can do that." The Devil Wants Peace picked out the drawing of cartoon versions of each member. The album was a big hit, and they were eager to go on tour. As for John, he promised Caryn that she would get to see them in concert.

Carl finished telling his story. John said, "This was a very touching story. I understand what you've been through." He wiped a tear from his eye. Peter had been crying, too. He said, "You're living a good life, mate." Stan, who rarely cried, was also crying. He said, "Yes, especially compared to what you've been through." Allen said, "I'm really glad u are living a good life." Erin and Lola hugged Carl. They admired how brave he was for telling his story. Erin, of course, sort of knew what he went through. After all, she had been abused door her grandfather. Paul placed a hand on Carl's shoulder and said, "You're a brave man, Carl. You're a brave man." Carl said, "Thanks for supporting me while I told my story. I'm glad that things have turned out for the better."
