the Hephaestus guys were coming toward us. i gulped. then i remembered a pen that my mom zei was from my dad. it was always in my pocket. i pulled it out and clicked it. it turned into a golden bow and arrow, with a matching quiver (is that really what it is called?) i studied it for a moment, then slung it on my back, i had a better way to get out of this. i started to sing, Percy looked at me like i was crazy. "go go go away, leave us alone, go go go away, run away back where u come." all the Hephaestus guys looked confused, like they didn't know why they were there. they turned away and walked back into the forest. Percy looked freaked out to the extreme. "how did u do that?" he asked. i shrugged. "Apollo told me to, in my head." i replied. "i think we should run now," i added. "that won't last forever." we sprinted back to the creek, chiron was standing there. "chiron-" Percy started. i gave him my death glare. "Lilia has something to tell you." chiron looked over at me. "well?" he asked. i gave Percy one meer evil look. "when i sing i can hypnotize people." i said. chiron raised his eyebrows. "Percy, get Annabeth and meet us at the Big House." chiron said. Percy ran to find whoever Annabeth was. i followed chiron to the big house. when we got there, we went inside and sat down while we waited for Percy and Annabeth. they arrived shortly after we got there. we all sat down at a table. chiron looked at me expectantly. "Lilia, please tell Annabeth what u told me." he asked.
i crossed my arms. "fine. when i sing i can hypnotize people." Annabeth looked interested. "can u demonstrate?" she asked. i nodded. "round and round u go, u hold each others hand and weave yourselves in a circle." i sang. they all got up, and started to dance around in a circle. "stop." i sang. they stopped. "wow..." Annabeth said. "if the Aphrodite kids can charmspeak, what do we call this?" Percy wondered out loud. "it's called spell singing." i said. they all looked at me. "how do u know?" chiron asked. i grinned. "you wouldn't believe the stuff i know." i said. "an example... Luke will betray camp." chiron looked puzzled. "how could u possibly know that?" he asked. i sighed. "i didn't know it, Apollo did. he told me."
