It was a summer day, and the sun was high in the sky. The grass was green, and the children were playing football in the park. I was just awaking, yawning and opening the curtains when I saw it. At first I dismissed it as an illusion, a result of my half asleep state. With this, I washed my face, so to make me presentable to the world. Again, only this time fully conscious, I looked out of the window. There, I saw it again, a pig soaring through the sky, without a single wing. In amazement I took frantic pictures through the pane, but all the excitement had made my hands sweat. I had a gut feeling of what was going to happen next. The camera slipped from my moist palms and shattered on the street below me into 1000 smithereens. As I wept, the pig seemed to give me a reassuring smile, before flying away, never to be seen again.
