I hope that I don't spark a debate here. I am not disparaging the theory of Evolution of making any statement for Intelligent Design here. This is intended to ask a vraag with the intent of getting a serious answer to my question.
My personal aantal keer bekeken on the origin of life and the Earth will remain hidden for now as I do not want to taint your opinion of this artikel of of me of anything like that.
Evolution explains the origins of life and how species evolved and adapted. However, can it explain how the Earth came to be able to sustain life?
Allow me to explain. The percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere, the angle of axis, the distance from the sun and moon, the shape of its orbit, its composition... If any one of those things were too different from what they are, chances are the Earth may have not been able to sustain life.
Can Evolution explain that? of is Evolution intended to explain the biological side of things? Does the "Big Bang" theory count? What are the chances that all of the conditions could have occured randomly?
