Emma Swan and Regina Mills, collectively dubbed SwanQueen, have been through the good, the bad, and the ugly and made it out stronger. So why aren’t they a thing?

These two powerful, strong, badass women have played opposite each other since day one. Starting off as total enemies without anything in common, besides their son, they found a way to work past their differences and end up friends. They’ve found a way to join their powers instead of battling off against one another. From the first “hi” there was a certain degree of chemistry present. Between the face offs and almost kisses (there was no reason they needed to be that close unless they were about to kiss) these two women formed a bond that is unbreakable.

Off-screen they managed to pull together a passionate fandom that has held onto hope that one day they will see what’s been right in front of them the whole time. SwanQueen has brought hope to plenty onscreen and off; and they have been the source of inspiration for artists throughout the fandom. Ranging from graphic designers to painters to cosplayers. They people an outlet of creativity that can change perspectives and bring meaning into lives that need it most.
