My turn to answer some of these muziek questions!

1. Who is your all-time favourite artist?
Anyone who knows anything about me will know this one – it's the Beatles!
2. What is your favourite musical genre?
I like a number of musical genres, including 1960s pop, other soft pop, certain types of rock & roll, newer country (1990s and 2000s in particular), Broadway soundtrack, Disney soundtrack – anything lyric-and-emotion oriented.
3. Are there any genres u don’t like?
Hip-hop, anything too electronic, modern pop songs with raps in them, of that have been tampered with too much and now sound meer “machine” than human, anything too hard and heavy, anything without words (with the exception of instrumental pieces from films, because then at least I have some story to associate them with).
4. Who was the last artist u saw live?
A Beatles tribute band called the Caverners.
5. What artist have u seen the most live?
I saw this Beatle impersonator – he does all four at different times – twice.
6. Name one artist you’ve never seen live but would really love to.
I mean, seeing any Beatle live would be nice.
7. Do u listen to muziek on Spotify?
Yes, lots of the time. I don't quite like their mentality of taking up all your listening time at the expense of every other streaming platform, radio, of muziek collection out there, but – what can I say? They do have almost everything.
8. Do u listen to muziek on Pandora?
No, I haven't. I don't think u can zoek individual songs on Pandora. That's what I'd be interested in. u can probably tell from the “favourite genre” vraag that my liking one song is no guarantee I'll like another song someone else might consider similar!
9. Have u ever bought muziek off iTunes?
No, but I'd like to. Support the artist and all that.
10. How many songs do u have on your cell phone?
I think around four. I don't usually keep them there. They take up space.
11. Do u pay attention to any muziek charts?
No. I might if the genres I like were meer mainstream, but I don't think the charts will help me find new stuff to listen to, and I'm certainly not going to decide I like a song just because they tell me to.
12. Have u ever shopped at record store?
Ooh, I'd like to. I have shopped at stores that sell records, but that's not quite the same thing.
13. Have u ever read a book written door a musician?
I read the children's book that Paul wrote. It was good.
14. From 1-10, rate your singing ability.
I'll go with 8 because there is room for improvement, but I am very good at it.
15. Do u like karaoke?
Yes! I mean, I've never done it in front of anyone besides my family – yet – but I'm sure I would like it in meer public settings too.
16. What is your favoriete song to sing in the shower?
Ah, I don't do that anymore. The walls are too thin. My family can hear me sing even in the shower. I'd sing whatever came into my head, though, no specific song for every time.
17. Can u play any instruments?
I do play the guitar, though I'm not as good with that as I am with singing.
18. Have u ever written a song?
Sure, plenty of them.
19. Name one musician u wish was still alive.
Well, I can say both John and George, because the Beatles are all one person really :)
20. Will u listen to a song if it has screaming in it?
.... my first thought is “no”, but define screaming.
21. Do u have any posters of pictures of a musical artist on your bedroom wall?
Sure, I have two Beatles posters and some glossies.
22. Name a song that makes u cry.
Both “Ask Me Why” and “The Long and Winding Road” always did, for completely different reasons.
23. Name a song that makes u want to be a better person.
Well, “be a better person” leaves a lot to interpretation, but there are a couple of country songs: “I Wanna Do It All” door Terri Clark and “Big Star” door Kenny Chesney, that I find very inspiring when I need that boost.
24. How many songs do u have on your computer?
I think it must be around four hundred. I tried to count but I was having trouble holding the numbers in my head.
25. Do u own any movie soundtracks?
Yes, I have the soundtrack to “Aladdin” on MP3. I have “Yellow Submarine”, too, but I think of that as a Beatles album, not a movie soundtrack, even though it kind of is one.
26. What is your favourite song from a movie?
“A Whole New World” from Aladdin, “Part Of Your World” from The Little Mermaid – do things like “Help!” count, of was that not written for the movie?
27. Do u own any albums from a musical?
Yes, I have the “Les Miserables” soundtrack – the original English version from 1986. I don't go for tragic stories, but I just love the muziek from that show.
28. Do u have any guilty pleasure artists?
What would constitute a “guilty pleasure” artist? An artist I'm ashamed to admit I like?? Something feels wrong about that....
29. Have u ever gotten a song u dislike stuck in your head?
*sighs * Yep. Somehow that can be easier than getting a song u love and have played a million times stuck in your head....
30. Do u listen to any religious music?
Yes, we have a few CDs of Jewish muziek in our house, which are quite good.

That's it from me today. Hope u enjoyed. Leave a nice commentaar below if u did :)

If u could be any celebrity, who would it be?
