It was called Sailor Moon Crystal: "Act 23 - Covert Maneuvers, Wiseman" Review - IGN
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Sailor Moon Crystal: "Act 23 - Covert Maneuvers, Wiseman" Review
In the creepiest episode of Sailor Moon: Crystal thus far, Black Lady revealed her true identity, made out with her dad and attacked her mother, and planted another Maleficent Black Crystal on the Earth\'s surface. Like I said, creepy.
Let’s start with the revelation that Black Lady is Chibiusa. We all kind of suspected that was the case, but now Wiseman has confirmed it. In fact, he\'s the one who managed to get her body to grow to normal size. He also horribly twisted her mind in the process, which explained her bad behavior this week.
Sailor Moon Crystal: First Season Wrap Up
How bad was Chibiusa\'s behavior? Well, let\'s see. She endangered Earth by planting another Maleficent Black Crystal on its surface just to lure out Sailor Moon. She laughed at Saphir for inadvertently making Nemesis a more powerful (and evil) planet. She tried to help Wiseman steal the Legendary Silver Crystal from the past. Worst of all, her Oedipus complex increased tenfold, resulting in her making out with a brainwashed Tuxedo Mask. (Ewww.) I didn’t like Chibiusa before, but now I
As much as I hate Black Lady though, I have to admit she’s made the show even more interesting to watch. With both her and Tuxedo Mask now on Team Wiseman, the chances of the bad guys winning just went up quite a bit. Which means a showdown between Chibiusa and the Sailor Guardians is inevitable.
Of course, Usagi doesn\'t want to fight her own daughter. But what are her options? Moon Healing Escalation? A cheerful pep talk? A swift kick in the behind? She\'s going to have to do
, because as we saw, Black Lady has no problem attacking Sailor Moon to get what she wants. (That fight scene was only two seconds long, but it was chilling. It shows just how far gone "Small Lady" is now.)
Why We\'re in Love With Sailor Moon Crystal
Chibiusa may be the black, cold sun the episode revolved around, but there were some great moments with other characters as well. I liked how Demande and Saphir
broke free of Wiseman’s mind-control spell, and how Demande had enough presence of mind to know something was wrong with Black Lady. (“Are you sure you can trust her?”) I also liked how we learned a little bit more about Wiseman. (He\'s a creepy thing from the edge of space-time!) And I squealed during the scene when Diana appeared and reassured King Endymion that Neo Queen Serenity would help everyone when the time was right. That tiny kitty is just too cute!
My favorite scene, however, involved the Sailor Guardians cheering up Usagi after returning to present-day Earth.  We rarely get to see these precious bonding moments between the girls, which is why I loved watching them tease Sailor Moon about snoring in her sleep, and telling her how “motherly” she’s gotten. Even on the darkest days, the sun can still peek through the clouds.
That sunny moment didn’t last long however, as the group was summoned back to the future for a final showdown with Wiseman and Black Lady. I’m not sure how Demande, Saphir, and Tuxedo Mask are going to come into play during the last battle, but however they\'re involved, it\'s sure to be interesting.

Act 23 had a good mix of suspense and drama, as well as a heartfelt moment between friends. It also nicely set up the final showdown between Wiseman and the Sailor Guardians, which will no doubt be an epic fight.
