When we got to know 17-year-old Scotty McCreery on season 10 of "American Idol," he struck us as an all American kid and all-around nice guy. Based on his antwoorden to our Celeb Slam Book vragen (below), we're now convinced we were right. I mean, the guy even lists "apple pie" as his favoriete food.
Tell us one thing the general public doesn't know about you:
I love to take walks at Lake Benson near my house.
Describe your daily routine:
Right now on tour, I wake up at noon, go to the venue, eat lunch, do some meet and greets, sing, and meer meet and greets -- this has been pretty much my routine the past two months on tour.
If u had to choose another career, what would u be?
I'd love to be an astronaut.
If u could be anywhere in the world right now, where would u be?
On a deserted island with my friends.
What super power would u like to have?
I'd like to be able to fly...

I overslept and missed the opening of a baseball game; the coach made me run poles after the game.

Bo-berry biscuits at Bojangles.

I was pretty ster struck when I met Tim McGraw until we started talking and he made me feel at ease.

Josh Hamilton's book, "Beyond Belief."
What's a surprising activity u do in your free time?
While on tour, I like to leave the venue and walk around the town.
What goes in your carry-on bag on the plane?
Computer, iPod, headphones.
What's your biggest indulgence?
Cookie dough, Cap'n Crunch Berries cereal.
What do your vrienden make fun of u for?
My vrienden back home pagina used to kid me for singing all the time -- until I won "American Idol."
What is your favoriete song to sing in the car?
"Farmer's Daughter" door Rodney Atkins.
What food can u not resist?

That I might do something to disappoint my fans.

But Scotty tells ABC News Radio that—after he gets off the Brad paisley tour in March—he will return to the fighting Trojans of Garner Magnet High School in North Carolina for his senior season.
And they didn't just give him his spot back: Scotty had to try out.
"Singing don't really mean u can really play ball well. So, they had to see if I had a little something left in me," he said.
"I have a feeling, though, it's gonna be rough. I'm a pitcher, so I have a feeling when I get on the mound guys are gonna be taunting me and stuff. I'm just gonna blow it off and strike 'em out!"
American Idol winner Scotty McCreery has revealed how he was absolutely delighted when his debut album Clear As dag went to number one as he was not expecting. Scotty also admitted that he was looking vooruit, voorwaarts to singing the National Anthem on the opening dag of the World Series of Baseball on October 19.
McCreery explained, “My hopes were just to go out there and have fun and let people know that the album was out there. Everybody hopes for the number one, but u never really expect it. To see it up there is pretty incredible.” Scotty then spoke about his love of baseball.
He added, “This is absolutely incredible for me. I have had two loves in life – muziek and baseball. The World Series is the biggest event in baseball, so to be there and be able to sing the National Anthem is like putting my two greatest loves together. I am looking vooruit, voorwaarts to seeing which two teams will be playing.”
