After a short time from the battle Harry insisted to go to the head masters office alone. Once he was in the office he went straight to Professor Snape’s portrait.
Harry: "Hello Professor"
Snape: "Oh, Mr. Potter to what do I owe the pleasure of your presence today?"
Harry: "I have brought something I recently found in my gewelf, kluis at Gringotts that was addressed to you."
Snape: "Me? What would possibly be addressed to me in your gewelf, kluis Mr. Potter?"
Harry: "It’s a letter sir, from my mother I recognized the hand writing from a letter I found at Sirius’ place."
Snape: "Okay, Mr. Potter please read it."
While waiting for Harry to open the letter Severus looked very anxious to hear what his only love would have written to him how it had been so many years since she was in this world it would be nice to hear what could have been her last words.
Sev,
It has been so long since we have seen of spoken to one another this is why I am writing u now. I am afraid my time maybe coming to an end soon, so there are some things I must say while I am still here. First I’d like u to know that I have forgiven u long geleden for what u called me at school. I know that it was a mistake and that it was never your intension to hurt me in any way of form. seconde is something I haven’t shared with anyone else, and that is that u are the only true person I completely trust and that is why I will ask u this. If anything were to happend to me please look after my son, Harry make sure he is placed in the right hands away from this world until the time is right for him to return. Oh how I have missed these many years with you, so much time lost but u have never been forgotten. u are and will always be my best friend and I thank u for that Sev.
Always…
Lily
Harry then glanced up at the portrait and noticed sorrow on the professor's face. It was the first time he had ever seen this side of him. Then Harry had spoken.
Harry: "Sir, are u okay?"
Snape: "Yes Mr. Potter I am fine. I have longed to hear what was in that letter from your mother for many years, and to know now that what I have done these many years was what she desired it has gegeven me the closure I have needed."
Harry: "Professor, Do u find it curious that u did what my mother wanted without even knowing until now?"
Snape: "I’ll admit it is a bit curious, but it does make me realize that your mothers’ and my connection were stronger than everyone realized like ‘soul mates’."
Harry smiled as if he understood where his professor was coming from similar to his connection with Ginny.
Harry: "Thank u professor, for everything over the years u truly are 'The Bravest Man I’ve Ever Known.'"
Snape looked surprised at Harry as though he couldn’t believe that James’ son would even say anything like this to him, but then realized he was meer like his mother then he ever thought before.
Snape: "Your Welcome Mr. Potter, and Thank u for bringing that letter u truly don’t know how much it really means to me."
Harry: "Your Welcome sir."
