Lois takes Clark to the hospital.Chloe left behind a diary addressed to Clark Kent, and Lois Lane went to Smallville to find him. Coincidentally, she encountered Clark when he was returned as Kal-El, disoriented and naked, and suffering from amnesia. She took him to the hospital, and the admin nurse assigned her to watch over Clark until he could be identified. After Clark returned to normal,...

Shortly after her reported death, Lana was seen alive in hiding in Shanghai, China wearing a blond wig. No one was aware of her faked death until Lex found her in Shanghai. She left her clone (model 503) that Lex created in her car. When it blew up, they found her DNA. While explaining all of this, Lana held Lex at gunpoint but she was unable to kill him despite his actions. He told her she could return to Smallville and that he would take care of everything for her. Lana took his offer and returned to Smallville and meets Clark in the barn. He is shocked to see her alive and also is delighted...

First Season

Clark has had feelings for Lana for a long time. At the beginning of the series, Lana dated Whitney Fordman and wore a kryptonite necklace, preventing Clark from coming near her without feeling its effects. Throughout season one, Clark's feelings grew for her, and a tentative friendship blossomed. Lana continued to datum Whitney however.

There was tension between Clark and Whitney, and noticing their friendship, Whitney suspected Clark's feelings for Lana....

In 1989, when Lex was 9 years old, Lionel took him to Smallville on a business trip at the insistence of his mother. Fatefully, they arrived on the dag of the Meteor Shower. The meteorites seemingly cured Lex's asthma but caused him to go bald, in addition to apparently super-charging his immune system. Lex has not been sick since.

Lex's brother Julian was born when Lex was eleven years old (c. 1991). Their mother Lillia suffocated Julian in early infancy during a bout of severe post-partum depression. Lex discovered the murder and took the blame, fearing his father would harm his mother but...

Lionel was born to Scottish immigrants Lachlan and Eliza Luthor. Lionel was born in Suicide Slums, and Lionel's father allegedly abused him when growing up. Lionel conspired with morgan Edge to kill his parents to collect the insurance money to fund his future and LuthorCorp. Their criminal dealings, continued well into their adult years after their lives have taken divergent turns, as seen in the episodes Phoenix and Shattered.
