Okay, so can I share how jazz dancers never make the top 9, while as at least 1 person in the Top 4 every year is a contemporary dancer. While jazz dancers perform light-headed jivey routines, contemporary dancers perform elegant routines filled with heaviness. Think of Season 14 modern jazz dancer Robert Green. True, he had AMAZING contemporary, but in his own style, he didn't make it very far. Now look at Season 14 contemporary 2nd runner up Mrs. Taylor Sieve. She performed beautifully in her own style, all the way from her audition, to the contemporary round, all the way to the Travis Wall and Mandy Moore routines that she and her allstar Robert Roldan picked as their favorite dances together. dancer Kiki Nyemchek. He performed a modern jazz piece with his ballroom all star Jenna Johnson, and ended up with a boring TRAVIS WALL piece! I mean, come on! I just literally wanted to see who picked jazz on this poll!
