Stefan and Elena was just puppy love.......all about the future.......and stuff. While, on the other hand, Damon and Elena actually have a fun and "living in the moment" relationships.

How can anyone ship Delena? Please explain that to me! They got forced together due to the sire bond! Damon, is terrible and Elena getting with him just ruins her character development and what we are told about Elena is that she is a compassionate person! Yet Damon is a serial killer and kills people when he is sad while his humanity is on! He is also a serial rapist! Plus he killed her brother because she refused to sleep with him and Katherine hurt his feelings! Damon will do terrible shit to people like kills Mason for no reason Mason demands an apology or his ghost form does and Damon doesn't care, turns Vicki out of boredom not even caring about the consequences and what an affect it has on people. He snaps Alaric's neck and Alaric is rightfully pissed at him and once again he gives a bull shit apology! Damon even says "I do stuff I don't have to do" Sorry Stelena and that Dobsley chemistry is where is at Not sorry

No offense to you Stelena, shippers but to be honest I love Damon and Elena always and forever delena. Damon, might not have done things properly for Elena to see improvement in his personality but she accepted who Damon truly is and that’s what love is all about coming to terms with what you know about that person. Damon might have killed people but so did Stefan.

Damon might not have been the perfect boyfriend like Stefan was but he was trying to do the right thing for Elena at the time of the sire bond but when Elena was compelled by Rebekah Mikealson, to say how she truly felt about Damon she didn’t hesitate not one bit and I was actually happy that Damon and Elena got their happy ending Damon was worried that Elena was going to go back to Stefan because of the visions they were having due to the universe and Elena reassured him that they are going to be okay.

Damon, and Elena may have a much more complicated, messy, consuming, and frustrating love story. But they are always finding their way back to each other and even if they have disagreements or arguments even if they say we’re over that doesn’t mean they don’t love each other they were going through so much in their relationship especially with Kai criticizing Elena for choosing to be with Damon because he thinks that she stopped caring about what’s right or wrong.

I think that Damon, and Elena make each other better by working through their problems.

Damon, has always been tough around the edges since season 1 episode 1 pilot of the vampire diaries. But in season 2 when Rose, died I saw nothing but human emotions.

Underneath the dark exterior Damon, has a good heart I saw how loving and caring he can be.

Stefan, would rather be with the human Elena who is a damsel in distress and needed protecting all the time Damon guided her even when she became a vampire and he taught Elena how to be strong and independent.
