It also gave me an everlasting fear of STORM DRAINS!!

When I was little, after seeing this movie, I would purposely do a big 'C' shape out into the street just to avoid storm drains when walking to school. I kept thinking if I walked above them or next to them, he was gonna grab my ankle and pull me down LOL.
