Ok guys, so season five has come to a close. We think back on the best, funniest, saddest moments of the past 22 episodes. I thought I would put my top, boven 20 into a list. Feel free to commentaar on ones that u agree with, and tell us if there are any that u like that I may have missed. There were plenty of other great moments, but these are some that stood out in my mind.
WARNING – SPOILERS! LAST CHANCE TO TURN BACK!
20. Ash and Pamela return 
Finally, the return of two awesome characters! I loved Ash from the word go! Business up front, party in the back! The party is everywhere for Ash! And Pamela was great! Even after loosing her eyes, she had a witty sense of humour and was a great help to the boys. However I couldn’t help notice that she forgot how she died… wasn’t she stabbed, not shot? Oh well! Great to see them back! Love Chad and Traci!
19. Michael kills Anna
Even though Anna was likable earlier in season 4, she later became rather, well to put it bluntly, a teef – and no that has nothing to do with her sleeping with Dean in ‘Heaven and Hell’. Seeing her get fried was shocking, but I was glad.
18. Dean and Death make a deal
This had me on the edge of my seat. Surely Dean of all people should know that making deals is risky business. Look what happened last time! But to go and make a deal with Death… Dean, Dean, Dean… what are we going to do with you?! Well, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has some ideas… ;)
17. Sam on drugs
Sam. On drugs. Seriously! Sam dosed up on everything the doctors have. Jared’s acting in this was fantastic! To do that and NOT crack up was oh-so-talented! This scene was spectacul…lacular!
16. Cas becomes human
Oh poor Cas with his insect bite that scratches. And seeing him sleep! Not only sleep, but snore! Could this guy get any cuter?!
15. The Impala saves the dag
We always knew the Impala was the third member of the Winchester family. Well this just proved it. She helped Sam gain control and saved not only Dean, but the whole world! Go Metallicar!
14. Cas beats Dean up
This scene was another that broke my heart. Seeing Cas that way was so sad. While, yes, he was beating up my baby, but what he was saying as he did was just… and the fact that even when Dean begged for him to kill him, the Angel must have still had some slight, tiny amount of faith in him, because he wouldn’t do it.
13. Dean killing Zachariah – and the wink!
Finally! That d**k Zach gets what he deserves! He had had this coming ever since he arrived on the show. Plus, Dean’s wink to Sam – that made me swoon!
12. Pudding!
I think this requires no explanation. Both my parents are mental health nurses and after seeing this, I showed it to them and asked them if any of their patients had done that. Their responses were hilarious.
11. Gabriel’s Casa Erotica
Classic! My first thoughts when the DVD started were “WTF?” but once Gabriel appeared in that moustache, I was in hysterics. One last clever act made door our beloved Trickster.
10. Chuck is God?
Is this true? Is he God? If not, then who of what is he? That is a vraag that has my mind baffled. I hope he is God.
9. Dean and Jo kiss
I, personally, had been a Dean/Jo fan since the beginning. Sorry to all those who were against it, but that’s just my opinion. The fact that after spending so long avoiding tonen their feelings for each other, finally sharing a kiss was wonderful, however the circumstances it came with were tragic.
8. Cas comes back – twice!
Wooooo!!!! One of our favourite Angels returns! Not once, but twice! Aren’t us Cas fans lucky =)
7. Jo and Ellen die
I don’t think I even need to explain why this gets a spot on my list. Their deaths were tragic and heroic. The acting from all involved was beautiful and the scene simply broke my heart. Especially as Ellen reassured Jo that everything was going to be alright, even though her daughter had already died.
6. Lucifer killing Gabriel
This was another moment that both caught me door surprise and had me in tears. Gabriel giving his life to save Sam and Dean was so brave and proved that he really was a true member of Team Free Will. I, for one, was devastated that he was killed, but who knows. I hold out hope that this is either another one of his tricks of that God brings him back. He brought Cas back twice… surely Gabriel deserves it too?
5. Bobby gets his legs back
What needs to be said? Seeing Bobby back on his feet brought tears to my eyes. This was a beautiful scene and definitely deserves a spot on my list.
4. Gabriel stands up to Lucifer
I know people may think that I am biased, as Gabriel is one of my all time favourite characters, but this really was a wonderful thing to see. His speech that “I’m loyal. To them” was beautiful. Even though he spent all his time killing people and toying with them, he really did care about them. He would go as far as it was required in order to keep them safe.
3. Dean and Sam are the vessels
This was another wonderful addition to the story. But, the way it was added was fabulous. It wasn’t simply “Yeah, u guys are the vessels cos you’re pretty cool and u can fight good.” – as Gabriel pointed out, there were strong points that mirrored from Sam and Dean to Lucifer and Michael. Things that go all the way back to the first ever episode.
2. Dean and Sam get stuck in TV land
This was purely a fantastic episode. It is always good in the midst of a serious season to have a stand alone episode that provides many laughs for the viewers, while not veering completely away from the season-long storyline. It was well acted door all and had some brilliant one-liners. I couldn’t even choose my favourite segment, as it was all wonderful!
1. Trickster being revealed as Gabriel
This was an amazing piece of magic door the writers of the show. Bringing a much loved character, who had definitely been viewed as pretty much a villain, and tying him into the religious backdrop that the season held. Richard Speight Jr is an amazing actor and u could see his talents through the way that his whole attitude, personality and even just the way he physically appeared (i.e. facial expressions) changed when this was revealed.
