Sam is a really good guy so wat he shagged a demon? He's a GUY after all he thinks with his downstairs brain and that is telling him Ruby is pretty so its obvious what he is going to do bout that duh! As 4 Dean and the angel? Well its DEAN the only girls he doesn't hook up with r the girls who prefer Sam!!! Duh lol :)

It definitely does seem symbolic. I don't know if it'll mean anything in the long run, but it's interesting nonetheless. Just on a side note, has anyone noticed that Sam's sex scenes tend to be somehwat savage(for lack of a better word); whereas Dean's tend be more tender?

Huummmm I'm not sure symbolic is the right word I'm looking for it seems to serious and certain (if that make any sense at all). I just don't know what the right word is though so here is my explination.
I don't think Sammy having sex with Ruby and Dean with Anna is symbolic of Sammy being evil and Dean being good.
I think in Deans case he needed forgiveness and who else better to get that from but an angel or ex-angel (just happens that she is a pretty girl!)
In Sammy's case he just needed to feel something good in his life at that point in time. He was in a dark place, he felt dark. He probably turned to Ruby because he felt worthless and he didn't want to be around humans, Ruby was the next best thing!

I was totally thinking this! Not that it means that Dean is good and Sam is evil - but that Dean has a purer side and Sam has a darker side is all! LOVE it! <33 =]

Yeah, I agree with everybody eles, particulary with Fanfly about how Dean seems more gentle, but Sam needed to release pent up emotions, and after what dean did in hell, I dont think he will ever be able to be rough with a woman.
