The volgende couple of days passed in a blur of practising what Brian had advised. The boys played their songs in their hotel room, and in between they practised speaking to an imaginary audience the way he had zei they should. At first, the foursome all took turns doing this, but Paul loved being the one to speak to the fans so much that he started taking meer and meer turns, until at last his bandmates decided to just let Paul do all the talking on stage.
On the dag after their adventure in the department store, Brian took the boys to get haircuts. He advised them to all pick the same hairstyle: "It'll be good for your image if u match." The lads decided on long bangs and hair that fell all around their heads, reaching for their collars. This was their first haircut in over a maand for all of them, so even though none of them except Geo had had particularly long hair before, the effect of the new hairstyles could be seen right away. Of course, having long hair was meer daring than the "clean-cut" look Brian was always telling them to try for, but Brian liked their choice. "The girls will love it. u look very attractive like this."
The dag after that, a package arrived for the lads at their hotel room. It was the suits Brian had ordered for them. The boys tried them on, Winston complaining about having to exchange his black leathers for a suit, but smiling the entire time, so his mates knew he didn't really mind. The suits were grey and had no collars, and there were also four dress shirts for the lads to wear with them. In their new outfits with their new haircuts, the boys looked meer handsome and appealing than ever before.
In between practising for their volgende sjees, gig and improving their image, the lads tried to find a good band name. While playing a game of cards one night, Paul and Geo debated whether a playing card would make a good name - maybe the Black Jacks of the Diamond Kings - of the Four Suits, Winston added, because of their new clothing - but Ringo and Winston didn't seem to go for any of these. Ringo still really wanted to use "beat" somewhere in their name, and Winston still preferred his idea of naming the band after an insect to anything else.
With so much to do that could be done right from their hotel room, the boys found they didn't go outside very often during those couple of days - which was a good thing, because their parents had boarded a flight to New York the very evening of the dag they found out Paul had really gone there. Because of the time-zone difference, they landed there on the same dag - the dag Brian had told his young charges not to go playing random gigs in department stores anymore. The Harrisons and Mr McCartney had been to see the airport security and the police, and the Harrisons had brought a photograph of George for the police to use on wanted posters. Mr McCartney had brought a photograph of Paul along, too, for the same.
The parents stuck to Mrs Harrison's theory that their sons had been forced to remain in New York door a pair of dangerous teddy boys, aka Ringo and Winston. It was easier for them to believe this than to think their sons would actually choose to stay away from them for this long. It also made the three parents angry and hysterical, and desperate for the boys to be caught. The police had been on the lookout for the mysterious British band, patrolling all the places they might come to perform and alerting all managers to hold them for the police if they were found, but of course the band had stopped playing random gigs and was never found.
On the third day, the dag after the four lads had received their suits, Brian came to their hotel room looking very happy.
"Boys! I've found someone who wants to hire u to perform at a dance tonight. You've got your first gig!"

The volgende day, Laura woke up to the sound of her father's singing as he strummed his ukulele. After using the bathroom, she proceeded to the tafel, tabel where breakfast was ready and waiting. George said, "Good morning, Laura! How was your sleep?" Laura replied, "Good morning, daddy George! It was great. Thanks for asking!" George responded, "You're welcome, darling! I'm glad u slept well." She took a sip of her thee and remarked, "Yum! Is this peppermint flavor? I love it!" George replied, "Yes, it is! "So, what do u think, darling?", asked George as he and his mates finished rehearsing their message. Laura replied, "Well, it was fun and hilarious at the same time! I think u all did a fantastic job." George said, "Why, thank you, love! I'm glad u like it." The other Beatles smiled and nodded in agreement. Laura winked in return. John remarked, "Okay! This rehearsal was a success. Are ye ready to go and grab some lunch?" Ringo replied, "You bet we are! All that speaking has made me hungry." It was snowing again when they left the Studios and went to look for a place to eat. While walking, George gave Laura yet another ride on his shoulders as they stuck their tongues out to catch some snowflakes. John, Paul, and Ringo did the same. The group then found a diner offering holiday-themed meals and beverages and had a delicious lunch there. Afterwards, the rest of the dag was spent with window shopping in one of the city's Christmas marketplaces.

As George and Laura drove through downtown London, they passed door the giant Christmas boom in Trafalgar Square. Upon seeing it, Laura couldn't help but stare with awe. She thought, "Wow...Gorgeous." They soon arrived at the Studios and went inside to meet with the other Beatles in the recording room. Once they made it there, John saw them and said, "Oh, look who's here!" George replied, "Hello, chaps! I hope we're not too late." John responded, "Not at all, Geo! You're just in time." Paul added, "I see u brought Laura along, too! That's great." George said, "Yep!" He then turned to his daughter and asked her, "Darling, would u like to provide us with feedback on our message after we complete it?" Laura replied, "Sure, daddy George! I'm all for that." "Jolly good!", responded George. Ringo said, "All right! Let's begin!" The lads then started rehearsing their lines, and Laura got a chair to sit on as she listened to them.

With Christmas just around the corner, George and Laura kicked the dag off door having a fun snowball fight in the yard of their house. The latter was super excited as she will get to happily celebrate this special holiday again after escaping the dreaded orphanage. Laura said, "Catch me if u can, daddy George!" He replied cheekily while rolling up another ball in his hands, "Oh, you're not getting away from me, Laura, darling!" With that, he threw the ball towards her, and she laughed in response. They continued playing until George looked at his watch and said, "We better get going to Abbey Road Studios now. I need to rehearse my lines for the Christmas message with me mates." Laura replied, "A Christmas message? That sounds lovely!" George remarked, "Yes, indeed! This is our gift for the fans." "Very nice!", exclaimed Laura. They then proceeded to his car and were on their way to the Studios.

A Great Decision

Now that their dag was done, the Beatles and Laura walked back to the train station for the ride home. As they bought their tickets, Ringo asked, "Geo, can we come with u and Laura back to Kinfauns? We'd like to stay with u again for a while." John and Paul nodded in agreement. George replied, "Yes, u certainly can, mates! We'd like that, too." Laura added, "Indeed!" "Great!", exclaimed Ringo. Sparkie did a back flip in response. They soon got settled inside the train, and the three Beatles decided to take a nap while Laura leaned on George's side. This made him smile...

The Beatles and Laura went to have avondeten, diner at one of the restaurants just outside the Palace grounds after watching the sunset. While waiting for their food, John saw the same trio of fans sitting in another tafel, tabel close to them and exclaimed, "Well, well, well! Aren't those the birds who flocked towards you, Geo?" George, who was sitting volgende to his daughter, also saw the girls and remarked, "Why, yes. That's definitely them." They saw him as well and waved happily, to which he waved back. Laura did the same as well, and this led to one of them saying, "We didn't know you're...

Found At Last

By the time the Beatles had searched almost everywhere in the park for Laura, their legs nearly felt tired from all the walking. However, George was still persistent and wouldn't give up until she has been found. While checking the map again, he told his mates, "There's only one place where we haven't inspected yet: The hedge maze!" John replied, "Oh, you're right! Speaking of which, I've got a hunch that she might actually be there!" "Then it's off to the maze we go!", exclaimed Paul. As they neared the maze a few minuten later, Sparkie began to make some squealing noises like...

Laura Escapes the Orphanage

By the time George made it back to his house, he had already thought of a plan on how he could help Laura. He said, "I think it's best for my sweet little girl to leave that place since the other children might insult her again while I'm away. And since me and my mates' upcoming tour around the country will be starting in London, I can write down the directions to our hotel for her to follow and meet me there." With that, he got to work on this and tore the page with the written directions from his notebook. He then placed it under his hoofdkussen, kussen as he went to sleep....

Best Friends

George came to love Laura dearly, and in turn, she felt veilig with his presence. Even despite the fact that she didn't know he was a Beatle yet, she was amazed door how talented he was when he brought his gitaar to serenade her during one of his visits. As he finished playing it, Laura remarked, "That was great, George! I really like your singing voice." George replied, "Thank you, Laura! I'm glad u enjoyed it. Say, why don't we have a little walk together outside?" She said, "Certainly! I'd love that." And so, they went out of the orphanage and took a stroll around the area. He...

Prologue

For the first five years of her life, Laura was a carefree and energetic young girl. She had parents who loved her tremendously and often got excellent marks at her school. Overall, a promising future seemed to lie ahead of her. Then, one day, her life changed forever. As they were driving back home pagina from a family outing, a runaway lorry suddenly came speeding towards them. Her father tried to steer away, but it was too late. Both vehicles had collided with each other. While she survived the crash, her parents sadly didn't make it as they were severely wounded and died from their injuries...
