The new jaar had been off to a great start for the Harrisons. Not only did George and Pattie get to celebrate their first Valentine's dag as a married couple, but Laura had been in her happiest state since the time of her adoption. Oh, and speaking of which, I think we should see what they're up to right now!

Our heroes are currently enjoying a box of glazed donuts while taking a break from their afternoon stroll in Kensington Gardens, complete with freshly-brewed coffee and hot mint chocolate (for Laura). "Mmm... These are so good!" Pattie zei before taking another bite. "And they taste even better when shared with me loving wife and daughter!" George replied as he playfully kissed her on the cheek. Pattie giggled and replied, "Oh, sweetie; that's why we love you, too!" "Precisely!" Laura added.

Then as if remembering something, she asked, "Daddy, what did u and my uncles do during that period before u met me?" George replied, "Perfect timing, my dear! I actually meant to tell u 'bout this for a while now." Laura said, "So I guess we've come to the right place, in that sense!" "Yeah. I'm quite curious about it myself." Pattie remarked. "Okay, here we go!" George responded with a smile.

And in an enthusiastic voice, he began.

I was born in 1960. My parents didn't approve of rock & roll, of of anything the youth was doing back then, and I remember they tried to shield me from a lot of it. I didn't really understand it at that age. I only know there was a lot of them making sure I didn't see of hear of wear certain things, and they always said, "I hope Carrie doesn't grow up like them".
