My Hunger Games (I had a dream I was a tribute! 0_0)

I often lay down for a nap, and the meds I take give me meer than my fair share of scary, stupid, odd, weird, ect. dreams and sometimes nightmares. I had a nightmare one night someone murdered my innocent two-year-old cousin, another nightmare featured my grown male cousin drowning to death. But the most uneasy thing about them were that I was the only one deeply upset over the deaths - they were seperate nightmares. I wasn't thinking about The Hunger Games particularly that day, at least not part from checking The Hunger Games here on Fanpop, just to see the latest. I have volgende to no control...

I know the book describes Katniss as olijf-, olijf skinned and black hair, but I don't. One, people need to realize that there is a 1 in a million chance of finding an olijf-, olijf skinned actress with black hair and gray eyes who is perfect for the part. Odds are she will have to wear contacts, get over it . . . Two, I don't know if u understand that olijf-, olijf skinned is code for: white girl who just has a tan. She doesn't need to be as dark as a Native American! So really if it's the choice between a girl with a tan and a pale girl, WHO CARES, pick the better actress. Mockingjay review *SPOILERS*

So i just finish reading Mockingjay and i have to say it was amazing. Not completely what i wanted but amazing in its own way.
I would like to say that i talked to my grandpa about World War 2 right before i finish the book so that might have had an affect on my opinion a little.

But anyways, I really liked this book because i'm really into war and stuff and this book pretty much reveled what war is like without sugar coating it a lot. And i know some people didn't like it because they would have wanted the book to be meer focused on Katniss choosing Peeta of Gale, but this is not Twilight....

opinions and review of the hunger games!

Ok so this is an opinion/review of the ever so populair growing series of the hunger games. So I'll start with a little review and then will love to hear other people's opinions as well as mine.

Intro:
As u know may know my vorige review was on the Percy Jackson series. I loved that series and if you're into fantasy that's a must read. This book was targeted at an older audience and I personally liked this book more. Not to say Percy Jackson wasn't for an older audience, I just think this will suit teens better than Percy did. The Signs in The Hunger Games

Aries: the SCARIEST opponent, probably the most appealing person to team up with, they'd know how to use EVERY weapon, and could probably defeat anyone that stood in their way.

Taurus: very strong, very resourceful, knows how to get door in nature, probably wouldn't team up with anyone, would stick to the shadows and only fight if they had to.

Gemini: very quick witted, can act on a moments notice, can probably talk their opponents out of killing them, can and will fight, but look out if u do pair up with them because if there is only a few people left they might backstab u .

The training isn't much to look at on the screen. Just a bunch of teenagers in black outfits throwing heavy objects around and playing with weapons, and most of them look bored. Three days of trying to get the Gamemakers' attention. Not much of it. They're feasting on buffets of extravagant meals and guzzling wine.

Team Peeta

Yes, everyone knows that Gale has had an eye for Katniss ever since they met. And it seems the obvious choice would be to choose Team Gale.
On the other hand, Peeta with his dreamy artistic ability, and his bakery smell, he has both talent and the looks. Peeta not only cared for Katniss in times when she had an issue as simple as a nightmare, to when she is paralyzed in horror of the games.

Gale didn't toon much affection to Katniss, except for the few times they hugged out of friendship. Gale is meer of that hard, expressionless type, that gets too jealous too easily. Its so simple to tell that yes, Gale also has the looks, and of course, he has skill. But he is not what Katniss needs. Gale has a hard heart, and wont let anybody in.

Peeta is soft, and tries to be a part of Katness meer than Gale.

Gale is definitely out of the question. Peeta forever.
