I was about to watch 'The Private Life of Henry VIII' when a titel card appeared in the first frame explaining that Katherine of Aragon does not appear in the film because 'her story is of no particular interest'!

WTF!!!

I refused to watch the film after that. The nerve to deem Katherine of Aragon uninteresting! She was a fascinating woman - strong, kind, respected, brave. And those are just some words to describe how great she is!

To deem Katherine's story in such a way is just disrespectful. Her story was and is just as interesting as Anne Boleyn's of Catherine Parr's. Her story often doesn't get the attention it deserves.

Queen Katherine of Aragon was a great woman, and her story is of interest, and to dismiss her life in such a way is shameful.

I know it's a film, but that one frame just made me angry. Katherine was an incredible woman who deserves admiration and respect, and I think to deem her story unworthy of attention is disrespectful to her memory.
