Mystic Falls seemed like an average town. A school, a place to hang out imaginatively named "The Mystic Grill", a little hospital, police station. I walked through the seemingly dull town until I saw what I was looking for. The sign outside the quite large house read:

"Mrs Flowers bed & Breakfast."

Exactly what I needed.

I entered and was welcomed door a sweet looking lady who appeared to be in her sixties.

She beamed at me when I entered the B&B and said, "Hello dear. How may I help u today?"

She seemed like a nice lady so I tried to give back a believable smile and replied, "I need a room for at least one night, please."

"Of course, my dear", she spoke. "We have plenty of room this time of the year. Stay as long as u need. A room for one night is $50, breakfast included."

I looked into her eyes, barely even using any concentration because I had become an expert at compulsion over my 1000 years and said, "I have already paid u in advance for a fortnight, remember?"

At first Mrs Flower's forehead creased up and she had a very confused face, but the responded in a monotone voice, "of course u have darling. Silly me! Here's the key to room 3. Enjoy your stay."

I chuckled, taking the key and remarked, "thank u Mrs Flowers, I'm sure I will enjoy my stay."

I entered room 3 and when pleasantly surprised. The room was a decent size with a beautiful antique dresser table. On top, boven of the dressing tafel, tabel lay a circular mirror reminding me of the mirror I had in England when I had been human. There was also a window seat, a feature, I loved in bedrooms. The walls were painted a light mocha colour, making the room feel light and meer spacious then it actually was. There was a king sized bed, which looked very appealing at the moment as I was exhausted from all the running I had just had. To the other side of the room was another door which I soon found out led to an ensuite bathroom. I got a few towels and cleaned the dried blood from the wound I had received from Henry. Then I went back to the bedroom, pounced on the bed as quickly as I could and closed my eyes.

"Daddy, your back!"

Hilda was finished with my hair now, which looked amazing, so I raced towards my father and hugged him as tightly as I could. I almost knocked him over which was quite funny considering he was an all-powerful vampire, destined to become a hybrid. The truth was even though I hated it when my father went on one of his missions, when he came back he was the greatest father anyone could wish for and I loved him meer than anything else in this world. He played with me on the mansion grounds, trying to catch me without using his vampire speed and often let me win even though he could easily win himself.

He chuckled and said, "Easy there. I missed u too princess."

He removed my head from his shoulder and looked at me, pride shining brightly in his face.

"You look stunning darling," he whispered, "just like your…"

He trailed of, his face for a seconde shifting away from mine in sadness.

Father quickly recovered in less than a seconde and faced me once more.

"I got u something. As soon as I saw it, it reminded me of you."

He handed me an elegant, white rectangular box which I took with a sigh. It wasn't that I was ungrateful of anything. I was very grateful but I knew my father had just not brought this gift in honour of my birthday, but also as he felt guilty for leaving me as often as he did to go on his searches for the Petrova line. He always brought me something back to try and make it up to me but we both knew deep down these lavish gifts did nothing of the sort to fill the hole.

This time father had been to Paris as he had received word that the Petrova line lived there. This turned out to be a rumour like many others had over the years.

I opened the white box and saw a beautiful, sparkling diamond bracelet, fit for a real princess. It was stunning, seconde to none. The light bounced of it, also giving a magical effect. Father could see it in my eyes that I liked the bracelet and said, "I knew u would like it. Here, allow me."

I graciously handed him back the box and he fastened the stunning work of art onto my right wrist. It was the perfect complement to my blue japon, jurk which had silver stonework, diamonds and silver beadwork. I was now ready for my birthday celebrations.

Father offered me his right arm and asked "shall we?"

I nodded and put my left arm through his. We made our way out of my chambers and down the grand staircase where the guests awaited. All eyes turned to us, especially those of eligible dukes and lords eying me curiously.

We completed our decent down the stairs, door which time people had begun talking again. A few people started to come over to me and my father and introduce themselves. I recognised some of them while others were completely new faces.

Finally, a few people I actually knew came towards me. It was aunt Sage and aunt Bekah along with uncle Finn and uncle Kol. door this time my father was on the other side of our large ballroom, talking to a very eligible bachelor named Lord Alistair, along with a few other Lords and uncle Elijah.

"Bea, wow! u have grown since the last time I saw you. u look absolutely scrumptious," uncle Kol exclaimed.

"Uncle Kol," I zei while I hugged him. Once I was facing him I retorted, "That's because the last time u saw me, I was eleven and was starting to develop very early ache problems."

He chuckled and said, "Well if u weren't my niece and off-limits, I would take a bite out of u right now. u look beautiful."

"Oh shut up, Kol. Not so loudly," aunt Bekah said. "Happy birthday, Bea," she spoke and placed a kiss on my cheek.

"Uncle Finn, Aunt Sage! I'm so glad u could make it."

Out of all my family, uncle Finn was probably the one I saw the least, even less than Kol. The last time I had seen uncle Finn was at the age of 9 when all my family had met up to discuss someone called Mikael who I managed to figure out was my grandfather. Uncle Finn usually tended to stay away from the rest of my family as my father and Aunt Bekah weren't overly keen on uncle Finn's choice of women, Sage.

"Bea. How lovely to see u again," uncle Finn replied.

Aunt Sage added, "You know Kol might be an idiot, but he is right about one thing. u look stunning. And that bracelet is amazing."

"Thank u Aunt Sage."

Everyone then started pairing up to start dance proceedings.

A young boy, about my age who I had noticed had been looking at me for the majority of the night was walking towards me. He was very handsome, with a chiselled jaw line, tactile jet black hair and deep, big brown eyes.

Once he was close enough, he stretched out his hand and enquired calmly, "May I please have this dance with u Lady Beatrice?"

"Of course," I answered, taking his hand.

We both remained silent for a minuut of two, just looking into each other's eyes while dancing.

Finally he spoke, complementing me on my dancing skills saying, "You dance very well Lady Beatrice."

"Thank you. I would complement u also, but I do not know your name"

He smiled and responded, "Lord Andrew, my Lady."

We carried on swaying to the muziek and danced for another 10 minuten until he said, "I would like some fresh air. Would u care to accompany me Lady Beatrice?"

I was unsure about this as father had always taught me to not go with anyone whom I did not know which was understandable as he had so many enemies. But on the other hand Andrew was here at the party so father must know him and had invited him. I looked around to where father was and saw he was now in deep conversation with another group of Lords, while aunt Bekah danced with a young Lord whom I think was called Lord Aaron. Uncle Kol was doing what he did best. He was talking to a group of young girls who looked no older than 19. They were laughing outrageously at one of his imprudent jokes. So I decided to accept Andrews offer and we headed outside without anyone noticing.

We strolled about 5 minuten away from the house talking about unimportant subjects like the weather. But I liked Andrew and maybe he liked me too. Maybe he could be the one.

But then abruptly Andrew stopped. At this moment I was a few feet back so all I could see of Andrew was his back. Then he slowly began turning around. And that's when I saw his face. It was covered in veins, with the pupils heavily dilated and fangs coming through. Andrew was not a Lord but a vampire. And something told me he wasn't really here for a party.

I felt like kicking myself now. How had I not seen this coming? I should be able to sense vampires. My whole family were vampires and not just any vampires. They were the originals for goodness sake!

But I knew I had to get back to the house so started to back away.

"Don't even think about it. I will snap your neck like a twig before u can even turn around and u know it."

Oh, god. I was backed into a corner now. It was impossible to run without at dying at the same time. What was I going to do to get out of this mess?
They heard the door close and wondered who came barging in, until a familiar, female and British voice solved the mystery.
“Anyone home?” Rebekah called from downstairs.
“Ugh” Damon sighed. “I’ll go” He stood up and walked to the door, but when he wanted to open it, the door was slammed in his face and Rebekah barged in. She held a guy in her right hand and a blood bag in her left hand.
“What are u doing here?” Elena asked tired.
“I came to apologize” Rebekah explained flighty, while she tossed the bag to Damon. “I was wrong to bite you. It’s just that I busted Stefan smooching with that vamp strumpet and u look like her, so I got carried away. I don’t understand what it is that draws Stefan to women with your appearances. You’re not even that pretty”
“I appreciate your honesty” Elena commentaar gegeven sarcastically.
“Hey, I’m as open as your legs were last night” Rebekah replied blunt and Elena’s cheeks turned red.
Gabe’s body was lying on a tafel, tabel in the basement of the Salvatore Boarding House. Stefan was leaning vooruit, voorwaarts to get a closer look, when he heard a door open and close.
“I’m down here!” he yelled, before the visitor could call him. Rushing down the stairs and an instant later Tyler appeared. “Glad u could come so fast”
“You zei it was important” Tyler replied scrupulously.
“It is” Stefan confirmed. He nodded at the body. “I need u to…sniff this one. I want to know who killed him”
“You want me to sniff him?” Tyler asked with raised eyebrows.
“Pretty much” Stefan...

Rachel paced through her cell, trying to figure out how to get out. Of course that wouldn’t be a problem once the moon was full. Iron bars really wouldn’t hold her back. She could only hope that door that time the building was empty and there would be no…overachievers left. That of she could hope for a miracle.
She got the latter in the shape of…
“Stefan” Rachel sighed.
“You don’t sound too happy to see me” Stefan noticed. “I didn’t realize u were so comfy in here. u know what, I’m just going to go, so u can continue making yourself at home”
He started turning around,...

Elena parked her car at the Boarding House. Caroline had taxed her with the message to get her ezel there ASAP. She opened the door and looked inside.
“Damon!” she called.
Damon appeared in the hallway, frowning. “What are u doing here?”
“Caroline taxed me” Elena said, waving her phone. “Hello to you, too, btw” She tried to look over Damon’s shoulder. “What’s going on?”
Before Damon could answer Caroline appeared.
“Elena, what are u doing here?” she asked, but in a completely different tone than Damon. “Come on” she continued as she took Elena’s hand and...

It was the first time Damon and Bonnie saw each other since Bonnie had ‘cured” Damon.
“Caroline’s not home” Bonnie said, a little distant.
“I’m not here for Caroline” Damon replied. “I need to talk to you”
“Okay” Bonnie frowned. “Come in”
Damon entered the house and Bonnie guided him to the kitchen. Sheriff Forbes wasn’t home.
“What, eh,…what do u need to talk about?” Bonnie asked slightly nervous.
“Do u know a guy named Keith?” Damon asked, as he sat down, following Bonnie’s example.
Bonnie nodded. She didn’t see why she would deny it. “Yeah,...

“You’re going to regret this” Rebekah zei trembling. “That’s my necklace. I lost it, back in the twenties. On the night I met your brother” Klaus never zei she couldn’t tell Damon.
“You’re lying” Damon replied supercilious.
“Am I, now?” Rebekah zei slowly as she stepped closer to Damon. “Stefan knew how to experience all the perks of being a vampire. We had so much fun together, while u were probably sulking over your dear Katherine”
“And you’re telling me this, because?” Damon wondered.
“Stefan and I have a past, a present and if u back off and don’t pull of stunts like u just did, then we might have a future” Rebekah answered threatening.
“But pulling stunts is so fun” Damon replied.
“You don’t want be on my bad side, Damon” Rebekah threatened. Suddenly she gasped, her eyes bulged and her face turned dark grey.
“No” a female voice said. “But I do”
Rebekah fell down and Katherine appeared.
Damon looked up at Bonnie, agitated and feeling betrayed. “What are u doing? You’re supposed to help me. u just came back to finish what u started, didn’t you?” he said.
“No, Damon” Bonnie zei calm. “I am helping you”
“By putting me back here? How is that going to do any good?” Damon asked.
“I didn’t put u back in here” Bonnie zei cryptic. “You never left. Physically, sure. But deep down you’re still here and u want to know why?”
“Please, yes, the curiosity is killing me” Damon replied sarcastically.
“Deep down u think u deserve this” Bonnie...

Elena was standing in front of Alaric’s loft. of should she say Stefan’s? Doesn’t matter. She was at the place where Stefan and Rebekah were hooking up, maybe even having a threesome with Katherine, and she was about to end. Before she knocked she thought about how she would convince Stefan about Rebekah’s true colors. On her way here she had come up with a few ideas.
She could just drag him out of the house, abduct him. Because human girls are so much stronger than vampires.
She could just tell him the truth. “Sorry, Stefan, but your girlfriend is a lying teef who’s using you...

Stefan and Rebekah were driving. They had stopped to get their selves a late night snack and now they were on their way home.
“Can u try and call Damon for me, please?” Stefan asked, his eyes on the road. Rebekah conjured her phone and dialed Damon’s number, which Stefan had gegeven her.
“Goes straight to voicemail” Rebekah said. She turned to Stefan. “I’m sure he’ll be okay. He’s got that boy looking out for him”
Stefan shook his head. “Derek’s just a teenager. Damon was in no good shape when I last saw him. I think he might be really sick”
“Then let’s go check on...

Damon raced outside and got into his car. He turned around the keys and drove onto the street. He then pushed the accelerator pedal and raced ahead.
He tried to keep his eyes open. He should have drunken some blood, if only just a little bit. He could almost feel his body breaking inside. But he had to stay awake long enough to get to the hospital.
Other drivers were hooting, because he drove from right to left and from left to right.
“Where did u get your driving license?!” someone yelled angry.
Damon felt his eyes fall down. The car drove for another few yards, while other drivers tried to avoid it.
Then the car drove off the road, turned over three times, landed on its upper side and caught fire.
Tyler parked his car on the parking lot of the Mystic Grill. He saw Caroline leaning against the uithangbord outside drinking some Bourbon. He hoped she wouldn’t look up. But as he made his way to the entrance she looked up.
“Tyler?” she zei surprised.
Just keep walking, Tyler thought.
“I know u can hear me, Tyler” Caroline zei uncomprehending. “Why are u avoiding me?”
Tyler stopped and walked towards Caroline. “Caroline, hi” he forced himself to say. He scratch his hair, feeling uncomfortable. “Don’t you…don’t u have school to go to?”
“Lunch break” Caroline explained....

Caroline looked around in Bonnie’s room. “It’s all so…white” she zei turning to Bonnie, who was sitting on the bed. “I can’t believe u signed up for this. And without telling me”
“I’m telling u now” Bonnie said, while she opened her suitcase. “Thanks for bringing my stuff. I wouldn’t know who else to bother” she added softly.
“It’s no bother” Caroline said, though she avoided to look at her. She walked to the window. “Wow! u have to see this view, it’s amazing” she said, looking at the garden.
“Yeah, I’ve seen it” Bonnie zei a little absent-minded....

Ok, now that I have had sometime to sleep on it and re-watch the episode. I can now speak my mind a little bit. Firstly, all in all the episode was pretty good, the intro to start the episode I think was pointless. It took up time that could have been gegeven to the actual plot but it was cute… I guess.

Elene Transition.

Considering that there have been two people that have gone through transition ( Vicky and Caroline) It was nice to see them go further and really toon us how Elena was seeing the world. How the sight, sounds and smell even had an effect on her.( I loved when she busted the light...

This is how Growing Pains would be like if I was in charge, meer of less. Based on what information we do know about this episode.

Caroline and Matt are in the Mystic Grill and Caroline tells Matt not to blame himself. Matt explains that he never thought Elena would do something like that for him, but Caroline calls him stupid and tells him Elena loves him as her own brother. Matt then declares how much he hates that everything is changing. Caroline says that things can only get better, as Klaus is dead. Klaus, still in Tyler’s body, walks through the woods and suddenly speeds off.

Elena parked her car in front of the Boarding House and got out of it when Bonnie walked out of the house. Elena quickly walked to her with fierce steps. “What are u doing here?” she snapped upset.
“Elena, please, just hear me out” Bonnie begged. She reached out her hands, but Elena pushed them away.
“Did u talk to him?” she asked mad. Bonnie nodded. “But he wouldn’t listen to me. He wanted me to leave” “Why would that be?” Elena zei sarcastic. She pushed Bonnie aside and ignoring her tears she ran inside.
“Damon?!” she shouted.
Damon was sitting on his knees, collecting...

The door of the Boarding House went open, but Damon didn’t bother to go see who it was. He was washing up all glasses he had used to drink. He heard footsteps, soft, it was a female. But again he didn’t bother. He didn’t expect Elena to come back.
“Hey”
The glass in his hand shattered into little pieces. He felt how Bonnie came closer to him and she lay her hand on his shoulder. He shivered, but didn’t turn around.
“There’s glass in your hand” Bonnie noted. “Let me help you” She wanted to take his hand to pick out the fragments, but Damon pulled his hand away. “Okay,...

Bonnie was sitting on Caroline’s bed, looking at pictures of her, Caroline and Elena. “Those were good times” she sighed. She looked up. “You think I can ever get it back again?” she asked. Caroline was sitting at her desk. “I really don’t know, Bonnie. Maybe in time” she zei not very convincing.
“I can try to say I’m sorry” Bonnie tried. “I can go to Elena and apologize” Caroline shook her head. “Not a good idea. Elena is not in the mood to see you”
“Oh, well, then maybe I can try Damon?” Bonnie said. “If he’s the reason u guys found me, there must be...

Bonnie woke up after another rough night. Katherine wouldn’t be here until sundown. She was up to something. Bonnie didn’t need her magic skills to feel that.
Why didn’t Katherine just let her die? It was obvious no one was missing her. But maybe Katherine believed killing her wouldn’t be punishment enough. Maybe she wanted to make her suffer. After all Bonnie had made Damon suffer. But she wanted to make it right. Not because she suddenly started caring for Damon; she just wanted her best friend Elena back and for that she had to make it up to both of them. Though playing with their...

Night came in and both Elena and Damon were getting ready to go to sleep. Elena, wearing pajamas with a teddy print on it, was standing in the doorway of her room. “You want to come in?” she asked teasing. Damon had this ludicrous…rule they had to sleep in separate rooms. It was so not Damon. “We can sleep together” Elena tried with puppy eyes. Damon walked to her and kissed her. Elena wanted to pull him inside, but he braced. “Oh, come on” she groaned, her lips still touching his.
“I’m not doing it, Elena, not tonight” Damon zei and he kissed her again. Elena took of her...

Come on, Elena, only twenty minuten left. u will go through this torture. That’s what Elena kept repeating in herself, while checking her watch every five minutes. She felt like Alaric was dragging his class out, but maybe that was because she couldn’t wait to go home pagina to meet a certain someone. Not that she couldn’t live without him for a little while, but their relationship was still early on and they hadn’t seen each other since breakfast.
She jumped up when someone tapped her arm and looked aside. Caroline passed her a note. She opened it and read: ‘Seen Bonnie?’...
