“It’s alright, u can take your time” the doctor said. She stared at the young woman who was sitting opposite of her and hadn’t zei a word since she walked in.
“I need help” Bonnie eventually zei with a small voice. The doctor nodded. “That’s why you’re here. Acknowledging you’re powerless is the first step and you’ve taken it”
“I’ve done horrible things” Bonnie zei staring at the desk. “And my victims will carry the scars forever”
“That’s how things look like right now” the doctor said. “In time it could change. They can learn to live with it, as u should learn to live with the consequences of your actions”
“I’ve tried to apologize” Bonnie zei trembling. “I’ve never seen her with so much rage. And I’ve never seen him so scared. I’ve ruined everything, I threw everything I had away and there’s no way of getting it back”
“You wouldn’t be here if you’d really believe that” the doctor said. “Maybe u should start with telling me what it is exactly that you’ve done”
Bonnie leaned forward. “I tortured someone. I chained him up in a cage, like a lab rat, and I put his whole body in complete agony. And his cries sounded like muziek into my ears” she said. “Now, u tell me, is there any help for me yet?”
