Is anyone else really confused between the boeken and the toon !? .. i mean alaric is dating elena's aunt who apparently isnt her aunt and jeremys getting chased door a vamp girl and bonnie aswel?! like everythings so upside down

i read the book elena isnt adopted in the book and im confused too like helloo were did they get all this stuff from?like i9m almost on the last book so and nothing like that has happend YET so yah i am confused sadlwy!!!

It hasnt started here yet but I've read about it and I am really confused...

(SPOLIER ALERT) I also heard that Elena is adopted which is probably why her aunt isnt her aunt...

urgh, this is annoying and REALLY confusing :(
