they kissed two times in the books, he cares about her, but i don't think he's in love with Bonnie. I see them meer like "brother and sister" bc they cares about each other but there's no passion, there's no fire, i just don't see them in a romantical way. But with the new ghostwriter, probably you'll get your endgame :)
