What The Fate Of Each Main Character On \'The Walking Dead\' Should Be
Six seasons in, and we\'ve hardly scratched the surface with what\'s possible for "The Walking Dead." Between its companion series "Fear the Walking Dead" and a number of plot lines left untouched, there\'s plenty of episodes left to see what happens to each of our main characters, except Glenn, because we all know he is dead as hell!
With four main surviving members in mind, let\'s see what the likely fates are for our main characters based on where we are now in season six of the AMC zombie hit, without delving too deep into the comics. Do you agree with our picks? Will there likely be more or fewer survivors? Read and find out. One thing is not up for debate though: Glenn is just soooooo dead.
In the most recent season six episodes of "The Walking Dead," we\'re seeing everyone is clear on the fact that Rick is essential to survival. With that in mind, we expect to see him make it to the very end. However, going with the comic as well as a slight fake-out episode where he hurt his hand heading to the RV, Rick is likely to be maimed. It happened early on in the comic, regrettably early, but expect our fearless leader to face a new challenge in being at a slight disadvantage in the near future. In addition to the main four survivors, we expect he\'ll keep Jessie and her kids alive.
If his bad acting wasn\'t already apparent, it\'s even more so when put up against other teen actors in the Alexandria setting, like Ron, son of Jessie, Alexandra Breckenridge, who is conveniently the son of the man Rick killed. Carl wasn\'t even in the season six premiere, was he? It wouldn\'t be so bad if he died, then as Rick grows closer with Jessie, he takes Ron on as a son, along with Judith who we see once per season, and has a new Carl-free, bad actor-free family. The old switcheroo. Carl is always disobeying anyways. Kill him! It would please the masses.
Quiet Carol of Alexandria came out of her shell when the Wolves attacked their people, and we\'ve noticed how cautious and clever she\'s been since Rick let her back into the gang. She has no intentions of leaving the group, and after several close calls, we think she\'s got what it takes to make it to the end. The only question is whether or not the guilt of her past will come back to haunt her. Perhaps she\'ll give herself to save a child and call it a wash, but knowing her survival instinct, we wouldn\'t bet on it. She still has to hook up with Daryl.
He\'s out there somewhere, probably eating a dead animal — definitely not one of those badass vegans — but we love him. The push and pull of an emotional badass is a touchstone of the zombie plague, and a man with that much heart, as well as the ladies\' favorite in a game of "Who Would You?", is our hopeful for the small surviving few we anticipate. However, it would be a devastating blow to see the most hardcore survivalist of the group get conflicted by his emotion — he still needs to bang Carol — and have it take him over. He\'s a sacrificer, and it wouldn\'t be a stretch to see him go in probably one of the biggest upsets of the series towards the very end. Either him or Rick, one badass has to go.
Played by Lauren Cohan, we\'re currently witnessing Maggie\'s uncertainty as to the life or death of Glenn, but we also know -- we\'ve known since the beginning of the season (SPOILER ALERT) — that she\'s pregnant. Whether Glenn is dead or not is irrelevant as we now know he lives on through his child. Man, I hate when people say that. But this seals the deal that Maggie will likely be the sole survivor or Hershel\'s farm, but quite possibly as a single mother. A single, hot MILF, that is.
Currently there are two people with dreads on the show, so we already know one must go. Of all the transformations of the group, many will vote Michonne the best and biggest. After starting out as a lone wolf survivalist, she\'s found a certain amount of peace with her tribe. As much as we love having her as a character, we don\'t suspect her fate with the show is much longer, as she\'s already completed her hero\'s journey. Expect her to stick around a bit longer, but the sword-swinging Michonne will likely fall victim in a unique way, perhaps by the sword herself, if they\'re going for originality.
We got a good look at the blood-thirsty former leader of Alexandria after the loss of her husband and most of her community. She\'s self aware that her days in the throne are long since gone, but she\'ll continue to fight until her time comes. And it\'ll come soon.
He\'s been around since the beginning, and now he\'s finally at Rick\'s side. Though the two don\'t exactly see eye to eye -- Morgan\'s transformation into zen master was like a great short film -- and will likely come head to head in season six as to how leadership should be executed, we think Morgan is one of the most skilled survivors of all. However, his training in the art of peace could not only put him at odds with the whole community (per his captive from the Wolves) in season six, it could also cost him his life. We like to think he\'ll be with us until the end, but the same way Glenn\'s weakness for humanity put him in a deadly situation, so could Morgan\'s. Either way, Morgan and Rick will definitely throw down.
Though he\'s not a doctor nor a fighter, we wonder what the point of Eugene is on the show other than some hillbilly comic relief and hair-do throwbacks, but despite his lies and overall worthlessness, there\'s something about Eugene that suggests he may help with figuring out an end, especially once the show gets more into the how and why this whole thing began. He might not be around for the full haul, but Eugene has a special place in our hearts for the time being.
He\'s a lover AND a fighter, and we\'re pretty decent fans of "Southland" so we\'d hope the red handlebar mustached man would continue down the road with us a ways. The way he appeared on the show and dealt through his issues with alcohol and anger pretty early on suggested he might be a short-lived character in the AMC universe, but it\'s hard to say when. He\'s the type of hard ass who will fight even with both his arms ripped off, and when he goes, expect to be impressed with his resilience.
Played by the very sexy Christian Serratos, we believe her recent tears are for a missing-in-action Abraham, but it could also be that she\'s realizing she\'s way too hot for any of these people. It\'s a lonely road for Rosita, but as we go, she\'s slowly been getting more camera time, sexier outfits and just overall more enjoyable to have around, but that won\'t last. We\'re sending in email suggestions every day to the writers about her demise happening in a steamy shower scene.
In our impressive progressive, but also PC, society, the show can\'t very easily kill off the gay guy with any ease. Suffocated with guilt and a need to repair, we see Aaron as an overly impulsive, anxious Alexandrian whose not-so-clear and sometimes reckless behavior could land him in a bad place. But until the show finds another homosexual, we don\'t expect they\'ll kill him off anytime soon. Oh wait, they just got two girls to kiss in the most recent episode, "Now." Nevermind, Aaron.
Lesbian surprises aside, we\'ve seen some growth from Tara as a scared, defenseless girl into a confident, motivational pep talker, but we feel she has just a little more ways to go. That girl-on-girl kiss, though. Not very hot but definitely something we could get used to.
In Venice, Italy they don’t have streets, they have canals. So in Venice, we gotta keep the kids off the canals.

I\'m sick of following my dreams. I\'m just going to ask them where they\'re goin\', and hook up with them later.

My belt holds my pants up, but the belt loops hold my belt up. I don\'t really know what\'s happening down there. Who is the real hero?

I disagree on Morgan, I think he'll definitely die. Also, they seem to think the Anderson family will survive.... link

Other than that, I agree on some and disagree on others.

...... the Andersons surviving.... *shake my head* link
