comics - specifically, a character death that happens

Everybody has been speculating for months about the identity of Negan\'s victim - the person who got their head bashed in during the season six cliffhanger of

The answer will come in the season seven premiere - but that death is not what we\'re talking about today.

We\'re talking about Negan\'s next victim after that. And it looks like AMC may have already teased who\'s biting the dust later this season.

Yes, it looks like time is up for the last remaining Monroe, played by Austin Nichols.

AMC\'s official season seven character bio for Spencer suggests that his arc will be very similar to the one in the comics - which led to his gruesome death.

"The arrival of Rick\'s group into Alexandria resulted in Spencer losing his brother, then his father, and ultimately his mother, Deanna.

"He believes if Rick had not led the charge to kill the Saviors at the compound, maybe there could have been a deal to be made instead of bloodshed.

"Spencer tries to do the right thing, while trying to find the reconciliation between the safety Rick\'s group brought and the destruction Rick\'s group brought as well.

"Always a touch on the opportunistic side, Spencer continues to take the path of least resistance."

In the comics, Spencer became hostile towards Rick and began questioning his authority. He then approaches Negan privately, behind Rick\'s back, saying that Rick is not fit to lead Alexandria - requesting that Negan kill him.

But Negan responds by splicing Spencer\'s stomach open with a knife.

The lesson learned here? Never, ever disagree with Rick.

Of course, before we get to that death (if it happens), we need to find out who Negan killed in that cliffhanger.
