Of course it totally depends on what kind of a character the narrator is. If it's a boring, unoriginal person like Bella or Edward type of mary-sue it wouldn't matter what their role in the story was... And of course also depending on how interesting the whole setting of the story is.

But I'd say the vampire's - be it the main one or some sidekick - would potentially be the most interesting because the vampires are the so to say unknown. Their thoughts and point of views, as said, if well written from a good character, is the best.

Lestat. Louis. Marius. Armand. What?! I'm just a LITTLE bit obssesed with the ricean vampires but in the deepest just in love, and couldn't be happier. ;D

I like the way Interview wa writen from Louis point of view, (although i love reading Lestat's vew and thoughts now) because in Interview you don't see Lestat's reasoning and so his actions seem cruel, eratic and down right evil, and not understanding him, or perhaps better frased not seeing his mind makes him seem souless and far more frightening.

Usually I'd want it to be about both parties (the victim/vampire)

They all are interesting actually. It should always be a nice mix of all of them to make the story interesting and understand everyones point of view.
