I may have started this with some punk quotes that only Trainspotting fans would get – u know, something like “Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact discs…” that would strategically end up with “Choose great UK TV series. Choose Crime door Irvine Welsh”, but that’d feel fake as hell after having consciously endorsed the fucking big televisie side of things.
