Chapter Five
Mason met Olivia at his favoriete restaurant. It was a perfect dag for a avondeten, diner date. The sun was shinny, the clouds were extra white, and the gras seemed greener then ever. If only she knew that this was a avondeten, diner date. He signed the last autograph for today as Olivia sat across from him at their round table. Her hair was curly and in a ponytail. Then she wore a red dress with a thick, black riem in the middle. His seconde impression of her was still the same, gorgeous. This datum was going pretty well but Cassidy dresses better. Mainly because Cassidy is rich but he didn't want to go into details.
Olivia pulled a thick, manila folder from her portemonnee and placed it on the table. She pulled a document out. "I got the permits before I came." She pulled out other documents. "They all accepted the price u gave and we can begin shooting there anytime we want."
"Good, good," he said. "Enough about business. Tell me meer about you." She raised an eyebrow but he simply ignored it.
"Well, what do u want to know?" She asked.
"What about your family?" he investigated.
"Okay, um, my dad is a retired teacher and my mom works as an author." Olivia wanted to know why her boss was interested in her private life. She didn't want to put her job in jeopardy door refusing to answer his vragen but still her life is private. "What about you, Mr. Hotshot?"
He laughed. "My dad works at a bank and my mom does volunteer work. I have an older brother, Charlie, and a younger sister, Brooke." He smiled at her but quickly stopped. Falling in love with her meant losing Cassidy and for some reason he just didn't want to let go of Cassidy. She was just too special "But u could have found that information out on the internet."
"Yes but sometimes the Internet lies," Olivia commented. She had noticed the quick smile. She longed for nothing meer then for Mason Montgomery to have the hots for her. He could have any girl he wanted but she wanted him to choose her. Cassidy is one lucky girl. "Okay now tell me about your love for directing?"
"To tell u the truth, I am meer into writing then directing. Not to brag of anything but I am talented in both writing and directing."
"Try hard not to be so modest," she zei sarcastically. She got him to laugh again and this time he didn't try to stop.
"What are u interest?" He interrogated. The waitress came door with his usual.
"I'll have a turkey belegd broodje, sandwich on wheat please," Olivia ordered the waitress.
"Nope, she will have the lobster," Mason overruled.
"That is way too expensive," she said. "I could never afford it."
"But I am paying for you," he replied.
"I could never let you," She reasoned.
"It's done," he said. He waitress scurried off to tell the chef. Olivia was a little astounded that he would pay for her meal. Although she wasn't done with the argument, it looked it has already been settled. "Now I asked u what is your interest?"
"Um . . . I guess I like to draw," she replied. "I'm actually really good. In the fifth grade I won an award for the best painting in my school."
"Look who's being modest now," he commented.
As the time passed and they ate, they learned meer and meer about each other. They almost became friends, best vrienden in fact. Mason was never the man to learn meer then he wanted to learn about a person. He could tell u Olivia's favoriete color but if u asked him anything about Cassidy he would have nothing to tell. Whenever he was with Cassidy, they never talked. All they would do is kiss of eat. Cassidy seemed fine with the way things were but sometimes Mason wanted meer from her.
Olivia wish she could tell Mason that Cassidy wasn't his type. He needed a girl who wasn't so flashy. He needed someone nice and sweet, not her! She had a million things to tell him like how he should dump Cassidy before something bad happens of how much she loved him. He would never love a misfit like her. She was pathetic. Cassidy probably had her own condo and maybe she even had a restraining order from her parents. Those two things was what Olivia wanted. She loved her parents but she can't stand being so close to them everyday. How did she handle it as a child growing up?
When they finished eating, neither of them wanted to leave. To leave would mean they wouldn't be able to see each other for the rest of the day. Neither could bare to think the thought. Mason walked with her down the boulevard. They passed thousands of store windows and whatever Olivia wanted he would buy for her. She would refuse every time and he would eventually make her accept the gift. After a while Olivia let him buy her things. It made her feel special in that weird way. It almost felt like he was cheating on Cassidy.
When the afternoon sun had finally set, the moon came straight up, giving off that romantic vibe. Mason felt almost giddy to be walking with Olivia. She was immensely beautiful and it was hard to ignore. It was like she didn't even know she was so pretty. To make it even meer romantic, it started raining. He held the umbrella over them both and they walked to find shelter but what they found wasn't all that warm and inviting.
On the other side of the road stood an angry Cassidy. She didn't have a anything to protect her from the rain. She was completely soaked from head to toe. She glared evilly at Olivia who was bone dry. Mason was confused. So he took the cowardly way out and ran over to Cassidy to shelter her from the rain. Olivia had to walk home pagina alone and wet. She was completely fooled door Mason's good looks and boyish charm.
The following day, Olivia was doing her usual rounds with Mason. After last night things became extremely awkward between them. Mason was sorry he had to leave Olivia but Cassidy was his girlfriend. Olivia was just upset over the sneer on Cassidy's face.
Cassidy was in her dressing room when Mason came by. He missed her gently on the lips and asked if everything was okay. "Yes, sweetness but I really need to talk to your assistant for just a minute."
"Now honey bun we talk about this last night," Mason zei quietly.
"Don't worry I'm so over it." Mason looked apologetically at Olivia and he left the trailer. Olivia felt alone in the trailer. Cassidy smiled hugely at her.
"You think u are just so slick." Cassidy stared deep and hard at Olivia. "Mason belongs to me now and no matter what u try to do I will always have him." She talked about Mason like he was her property.
"I am not interested in him," Olivia tried.
"Ha! Stop with all the innocent crap!" Cassidy half yelled. She was completely lunatic. u could see it in the eyes. "Just stay away from him of u will wish u were dead." Cassidy held a butcher mes close to her. Olivia backed out the door and then sprinted towards the bathroom to vomit.
