Chapter Eight
"Can u remember anything from your past life?" interrogated Dakota. Just yesterday she was invited to Hazel's death dag party. She wanted to throw a party to remember the life of Abigail and Gwendolyn Dalton. Dakota and Connor both knew that it was a setup for them but they had to to.
"I wish I could. As the days go door I forget meer and more. I even forgot how I died." Abigail's ghost looked up a Dakota. u could feel the sorrow leaking out of it. "I wish I could be of meer assistance but I just don't remember a thing. I am surprised that we are still linked to one another. Since I forgot my purpose I should not be still linked to my human connection. Once my memory goes so do I."
"What happens if u do lose your memory?" Dakota asked,
"I will have to wonder around Earth forever miserable and incomplete," replied Abigail. "Then it will be even worse since my body is missing from the grave. u must solve this for me. u must help me before it is too late. If I do not feel like justice and been done then I will live on Earth instead of Heaven where I belong."
"I don't want u to live eternity miserable," zei Dakota. "I know that your killer is Hazel. Connor and I are setting a trap for her right now. Then u will be able to go to Heaven freely. I promise."
'That name Connor. It seems so familiar but I can't remember.'
It was the evening of Hazel's big event. Dakota and Connor decided to go together, since it was a formal event an neither of them had dates. Connor didn't really talk to Hazel anymore after the hiking trip. He sometimes saw her in the halls with various guys. He was extremely jealous but he couldn't say anything. It was too painful to even look at Hazel now. Dakota, on the other hand, had thought of a creative plan to take down Hazel. She would need her ghost friend Abigail and Connor's help if she wanted this plan to go successfully.
Abigail's memory had only gotten worse. She had predicted that it would go away in a dag of two and then leaving Abby to live a life of misery. She did this for Abigail. One thing that had probably sped the memory lost process was Abigail's missing body.
She talk to Connor about it but the only detail he released was that he and Hazel was there that nigh digging Abigail's grave. He swore that they did nothing to the body but Dakota wasn't too sure. He wouldn't tell her why they were out there in the first place. He zei that it was a secret and it would have to staya secret.
Hazel had outdone herself. Hazel's house as turned into an extravagant ballroom. Everyone was wearing elegant dresses especially Hazel who seemed to be the queen of the whole thing. It was hard to to notice Hazel's beautiful off the shoulders white dress that shimmered n the light and glowed in the dark. She must have added extensions because her usually short black hair was now long, thick, and curled. She was the queen. The only thing that showed that this party was for Abigail was the single poster of her in the 8th grade when she took her picture with spinazie in between her teeth. That poster was located door the entrance.
Hazel flowed towards them with a plastered smile on her dazzling face. "Welcome guys," she greeted. "I am so glad u made it. u look really handsome Connor." She grabbed his hand and ushered him towards a group of friends. Dakota followed closely. The only rule they made was not to leave each other behind in Hazel's house.
"Who are all these people?" Connor asked perplexed.
"This is Monte, Ally, Tyson, and Craig. They wanted to see u because they heard that u was on the soccer team. They know some people that would love to sign u for a scholarship." Hazel smiled once more. She was being unusually nice. "Dakota I think Reese was let out of jail for a few. Why don't u go talk to her. She is upstairs in my bedroom."
"That isn't necessarily," Dakota answered as Connor began vividly talking to the three senior kids.
"I insight," urged Hazel. She made a shooing motion with her hands. Reluctantly, Dakota made her way towards Hazel's bedroom.
It was try that Reese was sitting there. She smiled up at Dakota. How could Reese possibly let free of jail? Unless . . .

This is a poem I came up with
The pain is far greater
the pain is almost blinding
u zei you'd always love me
a rope of love wrapped around me, a binding
But now I know the truth
You're nothing but a fake
u took my hart-, hart and played with it
and now my hart-, hart does nothing but ache
I wish to hear your voice again
I wish u had never hurt me
for now I can't even look at u
without having to turn and flee
This pain has gotten worse
I can't stand it much longer
but if I take a blade....
I can take the pain u gave me and make a different pain stronger.
