What I Took From It, Chapter One

I was overwhelmed with how happy and excited all our cousins were to spend the summer with us.
Tim was the oldest of them, and was my age. His face was a bit frightening, with glaring hazel eyes, runaway red hair, freckles, and his height. Plus, he had a bit of an underbite.
Jess was the volgende oldest, maybe a jaar of two below me. She always reminded me of an angel, with her soft blonde curls, big blue eyes, dimples, and optimisitc outlook.

Ciel Parker walked down the dark, gray hallway on the top, boven floor of the mental institution he worked at. His brown hair fell over his deep green eyes; the white light hanging above was too harsh for his sensitive vision. "What the hell are u doing?" Hazel shouted. Mrs. Uriel, the librarian, shushed her from behind the desk. Hazel quickly flipped a document she had in her hand.
"I was just checking out a book," Reese replied. She quickly grabbed a book and glanced at the title. "I would so love to read . . . The Sleepy Willow."
"You have never read a book in your life," she declared. "Come on Connor, lets talk later."

Unless, Reese was working with Hazel. How else would Hazel be able to release Reese from jail for just an event like this. There was no other way. Dakota stopped at the door and tried smiling but it was so stained u could tell it was fake. Reese didn't smile. She appeared sad. She wouldn't mumble a word. After taking as many pictures as I could, from my trusty phone, I went back up stairs and walked out the door.
My vrienden were busy with their families, and my one had abandoned me, so I decided to go out.
