Steel stepped forward, looking around the room. He was searching for a rip in Time, small enough humans wouldn’t notice, but big enough that ghosts from the future were coming through and screwing up the past, which would affect their future. It was Sapphire and Steel’s job to close the rip and send the ghosts back to the future. First, they had to find the rip.
    Sapphire also looked around the room, using her sense to zoek for unusual beings in the room. Steel took a step towards Sapphire, then another.
    “The ghosts seem to be attracted to you,” he murmured, stepping closer to her. They were a couple of inches apart and staring into each other’s eyes. Steel wondered how to get them to come out of hiding and toon their selves.
    With a snel, swift motion and a plan in his head, Steel leaned towards Sapphire and kissed her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he pulled her close. As they kissed, a slight buzz was heard. Steel opened one eye and clearly saw three unhappy looking men glaring at him.
    Steel smiled and closed his eye. He caressed Sapphire’s back, and they broke away for air.
    “Did u see the ghosts?” Sapphire asked. Steel was about to say ‘yes,’ but instead he answered,
    “They were fuzzy. I need to get a clearer image of them,” Steel lied and leaned vooruit, voorwaarts to kiss Sapphire again.
