	brattynemz picked The "they kind of fall along the way" kind of couple.: Well, I was thinking of One Tree Hill the whole time I was making this pick, just because I love Brucas more than ALL of my other fave couples combined. LOL. So LP is the perfect example of the MTBSTP couple but unfortunately, I don't have a LP icon. Anyway, I think I prefer the "roadblocks" (as others may refer to them) rather than the meant to be one's because they're sort of unexpected. It's always nice to be surprised. Moreover, when it comes to meant to be since the pilot couples, I kind of expect more because the show is written for them and because of them. It's like when they suck, they suck so bad. When they're good, it's natural. On the other hand, when it comes to roadblocks, when they suck, it's because they're supposed to but when they're so amazing, they're like 100 times more amazing. Brucas and Jeyton are "roadblocks" to LP's journey. Chair and Quick both surprised me. I think Sid/Cassie is the closest to being meant to be since the pilot couple because of the date. posted een jaar geleden.

I think the ones that fall in love along the way seem much more natural and real. And there's just a totally different feel to them! There's usually kind of an air of being forbidden because you know that the writers (at least originally) intended for them to be with someone else. And I love that! posted een jaar geleden.

But besides them, generally I don't really like those kind of couples. 	katie15 picked It's a good mixture of both.: I picked this option because there is one couple that was obvious to me was going to be end game from the beginning when I look at it now, that being Jate (Jack and Kate). However, even in Lost I was a fan of both Jate and Skate, but liked Jate a bit more. I usually go for couples that aren't love at first sight because it interests me more. If I know a couple is going to be end game from the beginning, then it's kind of pointless to me, not to mention boring - there is only so much you can do with most TV couples that are "love at first sight" before you just think...erm...I am sick of this couple! lol... They are meant to make the story more interesting and create drama. The story of Lucas & Peyton without Brooke involved would be simply Naley 2.0! They would have happy ending from the first season, always happy together and the show would be boring. That's why the writers create roadblocks to create problems to overcome. Brooke, Jake and Lindsey were inserted in the story to "lose time" and avoid to have one of the main couples always together. That's how I see it. I tend to love more meant to be couples: Ryan/Marissa, Seth/Summer, Lucas/Peyton, Jack/Kate & Clark/Lana etc posted een jaar geleden.
