Just wanted to give u the facts before we start.
“Come on Lauren u haven’t had a boyfriend in six months,” Christine said.
“Yea because u stal him,” I zei rolling my eyes and biting into a carrot.
“He came happily,” she said.
I pushed a strand of dyed blonde hair behind my ear to keep my hand from curling into a fist and punching her in the face.

“Well the boy will be exactly like u and the girl will be meer like her mom but she’ll have heightened abilities she just won’t be able to change as u would say.”
Mom sighed but looked at Jacob who was eight and ran her hand through his wavy long black hair that curled over the kraag of his shirt.
I looked at dad and he smiled at me and lifted me into his arms and kissed my cheek and said, “See you’re going to be okay.”
I held onto his neck and said, “what about Jacob?”
“He’ll be okay too he’s just going to be different as a teen.”

And I fell asleep in his arms that felt so warm.
