I had to wake up at 3:30 in the morning just to get to the airport on
time. When I was leaving I had a duffel bag and that's it, I got a
couple of stares as I walked door people and then some people zei thank u and of course i had to be blond and ask why they zei thank you. They quickly responded door saying I thought u were in the military. I zei I'm joining the Coast Guard and that's when they would say u are still keeping our Country safe. After that I didn't say anything I just smiled politely.

Soon it was time for me to bored my plane. I was being trained in
Washington State, of all places I hate the cold and I didn't like the
rain to much either. I was afraid of this the most. I was afraid I
would be sent somewhere it was below 35 degrees regularly. I was
scared. When I got on the plane I sat volgende to this really cute guy.
He politely ask why I was going to Washington and I zei "I'm joining
the coast guard". He was surprised he zei "that he couldn't believe a
girl like me would join". He kept saying "that u don't ever think
about girls going to be in the coast guard". I ask him "why he was going
to Washington" and he also replied "that he was going for the Same
reason". I asked his name he zei it was "Max" I zei "nice to meet u
Max I'm Addi".

An uur into the flight I fell asleep I couldn't help it. Soon I was
being awakened door the flight attendant over the intercom telling to
"buckle our safety belt". When I got off of the plane and went to get my
bag I heard a drill Sergeant. I was scared I mean who likes a man
screaming at u for no reason.

When we got to school we were hurried off the bus. We were told to put our bags into a ben. Turns out I soon as I step foot onto the soil I
was already ready called to senior chief randals office. I was
thinking what did I already do. She I got there I dent know how to get
him so I just saluted which was the right thing to do.

I was told that they have one too many girls on the base so they were
either going to have to put her in with the guys of send her to a
different training base. I flew all the way to Washington to be put
back on another flight to who knows where. I zei that "I would stay in
the guys dorm". They strictly told me "that if I do anything with them
that I would be out". I zei "don't worry u want have a problem with
that".

Soon I was being yelled at to stand up and go get my equipment. We
had an assembly after I got my bags and I got to sit with Max ( the
guy from the plane). He asked “why they called me to the office” and I
zei “try over booked the girls dorm so they had to put me in with the guys”. He couldn't believe it. I could tell he thought that I was cute
and he had a crush on me.
