Carlisle scanned my head and I looked away when he extracted the blood. He couldn’t find anything so he gave me the all clear to go home. Jacob had left and sent me his best. I guess Sam and the pack needed him. Alice came home pagina in the car with me and Charlie though.
“Come on Bells let’s get u upstairs to bed.” Charlie said, pulling me in that direction.
“Can’t I just kip on the couch?” I asked exhausted from all that had gone on today.
“I guess so.” Charlie sighed and with help from Alice, they half carried me to the couch, and tucked a blanket around me.
“You can stay if u like, Alice.” I heard him say, before I fell asleep.
I awoke the volgende morning at two o’clock in the afternoon, which was extremely late for me. Alice had stayed and Charlie had gone to work.
“How are u feeling Bella?” She asked.
I shrugged my shoulders. “Better I guess. My head doesn’t hurt anymore but I have backache from sleeping in an awkward position on the couch.”
She smiled at me handing me a plate which looked like it had bacon, eggs and sausages on.
“I’ll never eat all this but thanks anyway.”I zei to her.
“I’m surprised I could even remember how to cook things like that. I mean I know it’s not difficult but I don’t eat it so...” Alice trailed off.
I nodded thoughtfully. “Well it tastes very good.” I complimented taking the first mouthful.
“Thank you” Alice smiled, seeming very pleased with herself.
“What’s Carlisle doing back?” I asked taking another bite.
“He bought me back because Jasper didn’t want me to come alone, just in case.” She sighed. “But he would have come back anyway, we all miss u Bella.”
“I miss u all as well Alice.” I zei tears beginning to form in my eyes.
“Oh please Bella, don’t cry.” Alice pleaded, hugging my softly.
I sniffed rubbing my eyes. “I’m not crying.” I claimed. Even though it was obvious I was.
I stood up sticking my plate in the sink, and washing up the cutlery. Alice followed me leaning against the table.
I wasn’t sure if I wanted to know but I had to ask.
“Alice what exactly did u say to me before I passed out?” I asked.
