i think so too. she's been a receptionist for like ages and even though she often comes across as being a bit dim, she is not as stupid as others think she is. amanda says silly and funny things, but she also knows her heart is in the right place, at the right time. i hope she gets promoted, so that we can see exactly what she is capable of achieving.

perfectprincess- it is good that you brought up the fact that daniel gave her an opportunity to make a contribution by setting her and betty an assignment and to write a piece for the Mode site in the 'bad amanda' ep. hopefully, this will give amanda the confidence to believe in her abilities as a writer and further push herself to the next level. and fingers crossed, she will be taken seriously as a employee. she deserves the same amount of success and happiness that marc and betty are striving towards themselves.

i dont no if she should.. i mean she has done good and bad things for mode and she can sometimes be nasty so.. im not sure...

sweetysimmy- yeah but so has marc too, but with both marc and amanda as the show progresses we are seeing more of their nice sides to their character. but as we have seen so far in numerous episodes we have seen them endure heartache and dissapointment; thus they are human as well. they may be evil in many people's eyes but they are also vulnerable and have a heart, when it is in the right place, at the right time.

the thing is also, whose side would she be most likely to
be on? daniel and betty or wilhelmina and marc?

we all know that amanda has been trying in vain to become daniel's assistant-only for betty to take that job, and she was pissed afterwards. plus, she and marc are good friends and they get along so well as besties.

another thing too is if she gets promoted, what would she be doing other than answering phones and greeting people at the reception?
