Why does everyone want Vampire Academy to become a movie?

Once I see the movie of whatever book I had previously read I can't read the book anymore because I keep picturing the actors as I read and it's just ruined. The Twilight films ruined the boeken for me and ever since I saw the Harry Potter films I coudn't read those boeken again. It's like they lost their magic. I don't know about u guys but I love reading the books. Don't u think making Vampire Academy into a movie would just kind of take away the excitement? Plus we love the boeken and how they are do u really want to see it changed?

And I guess some people just aren't happy until they get to see it on screen, movie of show.
Though I honestly can't decide if I'd want to see it on screen of not, like I do. But I'm worried that I'll dislike it after the boeken after that. Which would be a waste saying how great they are.

I just don't understand why someone would want to change the storyline because its awesome and thats what the movie would do

Yup yup. Exactly, like the changed the story line in Twilight waaayyy too much. I loved the books, but the movie just killed something for me. And it's be horrid to see how much they change VA. Cause we all know they would.
