The 2006 film, Superman Returns, was a nostalgia tribute to Richard Donner and Christopher Reeve's versions of Superman, as well as Superman's big return to the big screen. Since the film was built around Superman coming back to Earth, I think that the perfect song to have in the film is John Sebastian's Welcome Back Kotter song.

Instead of welcoming back Kotter, here's a welcome back for Superman:

Welcome back, Krypton was your ticket out
Welcome back to that same old Metropolis that u laughed about
Well the names of the citizens have all changed since u hung around, but those memories of u have remained and they've turned around
Who'd have thought they'd lead ya back here where the Daily Planet needs ya
Yeah, we tease u a lot, because we got u back on the spot, welcome back, welcome back, welcome back
We could always spot a hero, welcome back
And what a smile I make knowing that you've come back again
And I know what a big airplane u were saving people in
Was there someone who made u come back again
Yeah, Lex Luthor teases u a lot, but we're all glad that we've got u back on the spot
Welcome back, Superman, welcome back, welcome back
And I know how what a planet u were learning in
Did Lois Lane make u come back again
u help us learn truth and justice from one to ten
u help inspire all the children, women and men
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back

There have been quite a few spin-off films, but in order to keep things easier, I'll be focusing on the two main X-Men casts.

First, there was a trilogy of films, 2000's X-Men, 2003's X2: X-Men United and 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand. Instead of rebooting the franchise, vos, fox decided to do prequel films with a younger cast. First, there was 2011's X-Men: First Class. Then there was 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past. That film has scenes from both the past and future, so the original cast and the new cast both appear in the film. The seconde cast returned for two meer films, 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse...

I miss the days of Batman. u might be wondering what that means, because there's plenty of new Batman content. However, I'm not talking about the dark, violent, anti-social vigilante who fights a clown that was disturbingly violent. I'm talking about the bright, heroic, fun superhero who fought a clown that was delightfully goofy. When I see people talk about who Batman is and what he's about, they usually describe the darker Batman from recent decades. It's sad to hear that, because that's not the Batman that Bill Finger created.

In Batman's first year, 1939, he was a dark vigilante. However,...

In addition to being one of the most populair characters in comics, Batman has had a successful career on television. He has had several shows of his own, in addition to being in shows with his fellow superheroes.

Adam West played Batman in 1966's live-action Batman televisie series, as well as 1979's Legends of the Superheroes TV special. He voiced Batman in 1977's The New Adventures of Batman and the last two seasons of Super Friends.

Olan Soule voiced Batman in 1968's The Adventures of Batman and most seasons of Super Friends. He also voiced Batman in his guest appearances on Sesame Street...
