Gotham Knights is a 2023 series that takes place in the Batman universe. The series had one season and thirteen episodes.

Gotham Knights focuses on a brand-new character named Turner Hayes. Turner was adopted door Bruce Wayne after losing his birth parents. Bruce Wayne is suddenly murdered. If that wasn't bad enough, Turner and a group of thieves are framed for the murder. Turner teams up with the thieves, which include Harper and Cullen Row and a young woman who claims to be the Joker's daughter. They are also joined door Turner's friend, Stephanie Brown, and a female version of Robin named Carrie Kelly. Meanwhile, Turner's foster uncle, Harvey Dent, wants to clear Turner's name, but he's being haunted door his villainous alter-ego.

Gotham Knights was a daring, risky toon to make. Making a Batman related toon that starts off with Bruce Wayne's death seemed like a counterintuitive idea. I was still willing to give the toon a chance, because I saw some potential in it. However, I feared that the toon might not work as well it could. I'm happy to meld that although the toon has a few cliches and a few awkward lines of dialogue, it's an intriguing series. The series remains interesting and creative throughout its short run. The main storyline about Turner and his vrienden is solid and interesting. However, a lot of the show's best writing comes from Harvey Dent. At the start of the series, he wasn't Two-Face. However, he was still struggling with his own duality.

Turner Hayes is a character that was created for the series rather than the comics. Having a Batman related series focus on a brand-new character was a major risk. Thankfully, Turner isn't a bad character. If u don't compare him to Bruce Wayne, Turner is a sympathetic, charming protagonist. He's different enough from Batman to feel like a unique character. The Joker's alleged daughter adds a lot of dark comedy to the series. Her wild nature leads to lots of unpredictable mayhem. Stephanie Brown, who is the daughter of the obscure Batman villain Cluemaster, gets an interesting arc of her own to go on. Harvey Dent is arguably the most interesting character in the series. His struggle to avoid becoming evil is very compelling. Two-Face is known for being quite a menacing villain, so it's interesting to see Harvey back when he was a very likable, well-intentioned character. Misha Collins did a great job of distinguishing the differences the two sides of Harvey Dent. He was able to make Harvey and his alter-ego come across as very distinct and different from each other. It helped make this version of Harvey one of the better adaptations of the character.

The series isn't intended for kids. There is a lot of violence and dark subject matter. Gotham Knights was a series that got poor reviews and ratings and was quickly cancelled. However, I consider it to be an underrated part of Batman's history. It's a fresh, exciting take on Batman's world.
In 2021, the Blue's Clues franchise turned 25. To make this special occasion feel even meer special, a couple of really heartwarming videos were made. The videos have left a strong, powerful impact on Blue's Clues fans.

Steve's reunion with the viewers:

Steven Burns, the actor that was the first host of Blue's Clues, made a very special video for the fans. A lot of young viewers were sad when Steve left to go to college at the end of the show's fourth season. In Steve's reunion video, Steve talks directly to the viewers just like how he did in the original series. He explains how him going to...

When I was a kid, various actors had already played Batman. Because of that, I had quite a few actors to pick from when it came to picking a favoriete Batman. Before I came to appreciate Adam West as much I currently do, Michael Keaton was my favoriete Batman. As a kid, I remember one of the first things that I searched for online was who was considered to be the fan-favorite Batman actor. When I saw people calling Christian Bale the best Batman, I was baffled. At the time, I failed to see how anybody could be ranked higher than Michael Keaton.

As a kid, I was obsessed with 1989's Batman and 1992's...

For years, there has been talk of the Flash getting his own film. After years of different ideas and significant delays, the Flash has finally gotten a film. The film is also notable for having Michael Keaton play Batman for the first time in thirty years.

When Barry Allen was a kid, his mother was murdered. His father was falsely accused of the murder, so the father was arrested. As an adult, Barry has become the Flash. He has the ability to run so fast that he can run back in time. He wants to go to the past, so he can prevent his mother's death. Barry manages to do this, but in the process,...

When it comes to the people who created the Marvel Comics characters, one person constantly gets mentioned. That person is Stan Lee. Thanks to Stan Lee's decades of interviews and high number of appearances in some of the most successful superhero films of all time, it's easy for people to associate Stan Lee with every Marvel creation that there's ever been. However, Stan Lee is not the only Marvel creator that deserves attention, respect and admiration. There's a person who arguably created even meer Marvel characters than Stan Lee in addition to creating some characters for DC Comics. That...

In 1939, one of the greatest fictional heroes of all time was created. His name was Batman. Batman started appearing in Detective Comics before getting his own comics series. In these comics, only one man's name was listed. That man was Bob Kane.

For the longest time, it seemed like Bob Kane could go no wrong. Creating so many legendary heroes and villains as well as writing and drawing an entire series of legendary comics sounds like quite the challenge for just one man. However, Bob Kane was the one and only person credited, so it seemed like he had done everything door himself. However, this...

My Little pony is a franchise that consists of shows, films and specials. It wasn't a franchise that I ever expected to become a fan of, but I ended up actually becoming a big fan of it.

Before seeing My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic:

In the early 2010s, I constantly saw people online talking about My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I was surprised that so many people were so invested in the show. I was under the assumption that the toon would be very boring and bland. Because of that, I failed to understand why people of various ages were becoming such big fans of the show. For years,...

Masters of the Universe is a franchise that consists of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and She-Ra: Princess of Power. It's a franchise that I grew up liking as a kid but grew to like even meer as an adult.

Growing up with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe:

Some He-Man fans grew up watching the original He-Man cartoon from the 1980s, while other He-Man fans grew up watching the reboot from the early 2000s. I actually grew up watching both He-Man cartoons. I was able to enjoy both shows and appreciate both of them as good action shows.

I grew up liking He-Man, but for me, the main appeal...

Tamayura is an obscure anime that has left a huge impact on me. I know that calling a series life-changing might sound pretentious, but Tamayura really has changed my life for the better.

Discovering Tamayura:

When I was looking for new animes to become a fan of, I stumbled upon Tamayura. I saw a picture of the four main characters embracing and was instantly charmed, so I gave Tamayura a chance. When I first started watching Tamayura, it felt a little slow. At first, it just seemed like a group of vrienden talking about photography. However, I quickly realized that there was so much meer to Tamayura....

Blue's Clues is a franchise that started in 1996. The franchise was something that I grew up with, so I'd like to share my history with the franchise.

Watching the original series as a little kid:

Blue's Clues was a toon that I watched when I was so young that I didn't understand a lot of what was going on. I mostly just remembered that Steve was a guy with a very distinct overhemd, shirt that was green stripped. I remember him and Blue interacting with talking objects, including Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and Slippery Soap. Seeing a toon with talking objects was such a strange, unique thing that helped Blue's...

Frozen is a 2013 animated film. First off, happy 10th anniversary to Frozen. seconde off, I'd like to share some information about my history with Frozen.

Expectations before seeing the film:

In hindsight, this is hard to imagine, but when Frozen was coming out, I wasn't very excited. I had gone through a time where Disney's animated films weren't appealing to me, so I was afraid that Frozen wouldn't be a film that I would like. I thought there was a small chance that the film might be kind of interesting, because of Elsa and her ice powers. However, my expectations for the film were quite low....

Over the years, there have been so many great Batman toys. They have made a countless number of Batman toys. Batman's sidekicks and enemies have also gotten a large number of toys. They've even started making toys of some of the lesser-known villains. I'm impressed door the wonderful variety of figures. However, there are still some characters that I like that have yet to get a toy.

Professor Bubbles

Professor Bubbles was the main antagonist of an episode from 1977's The New Adventures of Batman. He's a personal favoriete of mine for his over-the-top personality, voice and design.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power was a 2018 reboot of 1985's She-Ra: Princess of Power. The reboot was incredibly popular. It has led to the She-Ra franchise gaining lots of new fans.

Adora (She-Ra) was known for being the sister of Adam (He-Man) in the original series. However, He-Man isn't seen of even mentioned in this series. The toon never reveals who Adora's birth parents were, so it's unknown if she even had a sibling.

In the original series, Hordak was Skeletor's original boss. However, Skeletor didn't appear in the reboot, so it remains unknown if the reboot's version of Hordak ever...

The Little Mermaid is a 2023 live-action film that's a remake of 1989's Little Mermaid animated film. Live-action Disney remakes have gotten a lot of mixed reception. I didn't care for some of them, such as Aladdin, Lady and The Tramp and Mulan. However, there have been some remakes that I enjoyed, such as Cinderella, Dumbo and both Maleficent films.
