The Riddler is one of Batman's most populair enemies. The Riddler started appearing in Batman comics in the 1940's. At first, the Riddler didn't appear very often and wasn't very iconic. However, that quickly changed, because of the Riddler's prominent role in the 1960's Batman TV series. Since then, Riddler's become of Batman's most iconic enemies.

Frank Gorshin played the Riddler in 1966's Batman TV series and movie, as well as 1979's Legends of the Superheroes TV special.

The pinguïn is one of Batman's most iconic enemies. Ever since the 1940's, Oswald chesterfield Cobblepot has been causing lots of trouble for Batman. Over the years, pinguïn has been adapted in several different ways.

Burgess Meredith played the pinguïn in the 1966 Batman TV toon and movie.

Fun facts: Along with Cesar Romero's Joker, Burgess Meredith's pinguïn was one of the top, boven 2 most frequently shown villains on the show. Marvel's first big film franchise was the X-Men franchise. Before 2000's X-Men film came out, superhero films weren't as common of as populair as they are now. Superman and Batman were already successful film stars, but other superheroes struggled to have success on the big screen. The popularity of the X-Men film franchise led to several other superheroes being adapted into theatrical stars. As time has gone on, there have been several X-Men films. Fox's X-Men film franchise started in 2000 and didn't end until 2020, which makes it one of the longest superhero film franchises of all time.
