The Amazing Spider-Man film series is a duo of Spider-Man films that were directed door Marc Webb. The first film, The Amazing Spider-Man, came out in 2012. The seconde film, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, came out in 2014. The films received mixed reception. Due to mixed reactions, the third film was cancelled. However, the series received a bit of a comeback in the form of 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, which had a couple of characters from The Amazing Spider-Man films.

The original Spider-Man film series included three films that were directed door Sam Raimi. The films included 2002's Spider-Man, 2004's Spider-Man 2 and 2007's Spider-Man 3. The trilogy went on to become one of the most iconic versions of Spider-Man. To this day, people often think of the original trilogy when they think of Spider-Man. 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, a film that paid tribute to the original trilogy, became one of the most successful films of all time.

Batman: The Animated Series is a cartoon toon from 1992. The toon lasted over eighty episodes. In 1993, the toon had a film called Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. In 1998, there was a seconde film that was called Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero. The show's popularity led to various spin-off shows, including The New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond and Justice League. The toon served as the beginning of Kevin Conroy's career as Batman. Since then, he has voiced Batman in various cartoon shows and films. In fact, he has voiced Batman meer times than any actor ever has.

After the success of Superman's film franchise, Batman was gegeven his own film franchise. Batman's original film franchise had four films. The films were 1989's Batman, 1992's Batman Returns, 1995's Batman Forever and 1997's Batman and Robin. Two of them were directed door Tim burton and the other two were directed door Joel Schumacher. Despite how different the two directors were, their takes on Batman are meant to take place in the same universe. Batman ended up being played door three different actors throughout the quad of films, but Alfred and Commissioner Gordon were never recast.

Superman was one of the first superheroes to become a worldwide icon, so it was fitting that he would become one of the first superhero films to lead a film franchise. The franchise started in 1978 in Superman: The Movie. This was followed door 1980's Superman 2, 1983's Superman 3 and 1987's Superman: The Quest for Peace. There was a Supergirl in 1984 that took place in the same continuity. In 2006, a new sequel, called Superman Returns, came out. It served as the finale to the original film franchise and was dedicated to Christopher Reeve and his wife, Dana Reeve.
